My words picked apart
At the start were lovely words
Like the way the sky kisses the birds
Now all I hear is silence and none of those words
You are a pen without paper I am try to savour
The times we had
But they've fallen away
They're missing I have lost them today
In the gloom
In the wilderness of a dark room
I may not speak I may not talk
I walk without sunrise
I rise without day
All days seem grey and cloudy
If I had my way
We would be together again
But life moves and life shakes
life is like an earthquake
and we must hang on to the ones we cherish
Or our love will surely perish
So love long and hard
and relish every opportunity
everyday and grasp it hold it your hands
For life is forever taking away our friends our time
