I guess we belonged but weren't meant to be.

We came home-- well, Taehyung's house, at about 11 pm and I was tired. He parked the car and even in the moonlight I could tell the size of his place.
There was a tower and it had three balconies. To get to the front door you had to go up a set of spiral stairs that had a small waterfall in between them that connected with a small pool. The tower had an opening at the bottom, middle and top. The bottom had a small fire with a set of chairs and opposite of that, on the other side of the house was a dining table out in the open. The house had beige walls and resembled a castle(to me). And let's not even talk about the inside.
There were more stairs leading to the second floor but the furniture was either white or purple. The kitchen was almost as big as my house, the same thing with the living room. The whole thing was spacious and I could fucking pay my education with like 4 pieces of furniture. There were 4 rooms. A master bedroom, 2 guest rooms and an office that was the same size as my bedroom back in my house and that's saying BIG.
"Choose whichever room out of the 2 on the right and it's yours." Taehyung said and was followed by a bark. I looked behind us and saw one of the cutest dogs ever(besides Moonshil). He reminded me of a cookie with too much chocolate.
"He's Yeontan, my dog." I put Moonshil down and he ran to Yeontan, sniffing him.
"I guess they'll get along.." I picked up my luggage and walked up the stairs, whincing with every step, but it stopped when my load became light.
"Go and pick, I'll take this to your room once you're settled." I nodded.
The first bedroom gave me soft vibes. It put me at ease with no bright colors screaming in my face. The bed was round with a small step around it. The room was a light pink with two bedside tables, a lamp on each. There was a sofa for two a few feet away with another table beside it with a lamp. A bookshelf decorated the wall in front of the bed. Picture frames on almost every wall with a tiled floor. The bathroom had a bathtub, surrounded by a few candles and a potted plant. The sink had a mirror and 6 cabinets with 5 candles on each side that hanged from the wall.
The next bedroom.. it was chill. The walls were gray and a huge window showed the view of the back, a garden with rocky paths leading to several directions. There were two chairs with a glass table in between and the curtains were black. The bed had two bedside tables, one with a lamp and another with a hanging light, and a small clock. It was a mix of black and white, a wooden floor. The bathroom had a black wall were a mirror was placed as well as a t.v. There was a small seat in the middle that was soft to the touch. A bathtub and shower. 2 sinks facing eachother with more potted plants.
I walked back outside and thought about it. If I wanted to be soft, there was the fisrt bedroom. But if I wanted to be with my old friend, the darkness, I had the other room. And I wouldn't mind having two places to bathe in.
I walked back inside the second room and took a deep breath.
"I shall call this room mine."
"Good decision." I heard behind and I flinched, hugging myself as I turned around.
"Y-yeah.." Taehyung's smile faded and he looked down.
"I'm sorry for scaring you." I shook my head.
"Don't worry.. I'll just have to get used to it.."
"That's what I don't want. You've been abused for I don't know how long and I want to help you." I smiled, looking down as I tried to hide my tears.
"2 years."
"What?"
"It's being going on for 2 years and I never said anything because he threatened me by saying he would hurt my family and friends. I stayed quiet for so long I forgot how to speak up. He controlled my life. Where I was every fucking second of the day, who I talked to and when I was to be at his house. He would hit me. A kick on the ribs, a punch in the face and a cut in the leg." I was sobbing, pouring out all the pain I've endured.
I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me but it wasn't the cold touch I was used to. It was warm and made me feel safe. It was Taehyung and I felt happy in his embrace.

"My friends are coming over."
"Then I'll stay in my room so I won't bother you." We were outside, sitting at the table as we looked at the stars. It was past 2 in the morning and we had barely slept as we had been talking.
"No. I want you to get to know them better."
"Are they the one that were at the restaurant last time?" He nodded.
"I liked the one that was quiet. Min..?"
"Yoongi. Min Yoongi. He's always like that but he had a smile on his face." He sounded surprise, making me wonder.
"Does he not smile?"
"He does but it's rare. All of them were worried about you, even him."
"Do.. do they do know?" He shook his head and I sighed in relief.
"Then why were they worried?"
"Because KS told them."
"Told them what?"
"About your diseases." I looked down.
I, Kim Luna, suffered from insomnia and osteoporosis. I have trouble falling asleep and my body makes too little bone. Because of my condition, I have to take several medications and be active most of the time, making both of them the complete opposite but it helps me sleep a little easier.
"I see.. But don't worry! I'll get better."
"Yeah, because you left that guy behind. He could've done severe damage to your body." I smiled.
"I'm glad to know someone cares.. But I never told KS anything."
"She did research. Your mother also talked to her."
"Well, I'll get better. They kinda help each other so yeah.."
"You're going into treatment tomorrow and no buts. School will be done online and don't worry about your parents. They'll do fine knowing you're doing better."
"If you say so.." The doorbell rang and Taehyung smiled.
"Now let's go say hi to some friends of mine."
