Chapter 1- A Royal Start

Down on a small planet named Avaron, was a small kingdom..well. This planet has more than one of course. This kingdom is named Buxton Kingdom. It's home to many. The kingdom is also home to a King and Queen, named James and Jessy, who are soon expecting a baby girl. James spends days and hours, watching out for any attacks on the kingdom. While his wife rests. The kingdom is a target to a enemy. His name is Sebastian. He to, is a father. He has a wife but, he treats her horribly. Sebastian and James have been at war for 3 years. Sebastian is after the royal necklace. The royal necklace holds history. Power. Power that many would desire. If it was in Sebastians hands, he would most likely use the power for destruction. Lately, things have been quiet and to James, that was suspicious. Jessy missed having time with him. "Hes been so...paranoid.." Jessy mumbled under her breath. James stared out the window, watching the kingdom. He sighed. Jessy walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder "Sugar...can't you just let loose for 1 day?..." she asked. James looked at her "No, Jes! What if i turn my back and suddenly the kingdom is in flames!?" He asked. Jessy gave him a disappointed look. "You only have one life to live, James...and you're wasting it away by bein' paranoid everyday..!" She slightly shouted. "Why can't you just...spend some time with me?..i know you want to keep me safe...but you bein' around me is all i want..." she said. James kept his stare locked on the kingdom. "Our daughter...is this what you want for her, Jes? For her to live in a kingdom that could be attacked any minute?" He asked looking at her. "I love you. You're my wife. But there are just some thing's i must surrender to protect....and that is spending my time with you, Jes. Im sorry." He said. Jessy looked down at the floor and felt tears filling her eyes. She turned around and started walking back to her room. James let out a sigh. He then turned and walked into the meeting room. He then shut the doors behind him. "Ok, soldiers. Thing's have been really quiet. So keep your eyes locked and open, tonight. Understood?" He asked and commanded. The soldiers noded "Yes, your majesty!" They all shouted. One of the female soldiers stayed quiet..then spoke. "Your majesty...i know i have no right in this. But...you should spend some time with the queen. She is pregnant, and needs your company. If you trusted us-" James slammed his fist on the table "WHEN I GIVE YOU ORDERS, YOU ARE TO ONLY SPEAK WHEN ASKED TO. WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE QUEEN AND I, IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS..." he snapped. The soldier's went quiet in shock. The female soldier knew that if she went any further, she would be punished. So she looked at the foor "f-forgive me...your majesty....." she mumbled. James slowly got back into position. "You are commanded to keep watch all through the night. No sleep. No rest! If i catch you sleeping, you will be persecuted!..understood?" He asked looking at his soldiers. They all saluted him "Yes your majesty!!" They all shouted.
