After that day he called me twice. I didn't know what to do or how to feel, so I just answered.
He told me about his cat and his family and how nice they were. But most importantly, he told me about his illness, the reason he's partially bind.
"It's called Behcet Disease. It's an autoimmune disorder that I was born with. I wasn't always "blind", it just happened as I got older." I asked him something I didn't want to ask, the words came out before I could stop them.
"Is it bad?"
"Maybe? I'm not really sure. But don't worry Changbinnie, I'm really tough" I could feel him smile through the phone.
The second time he called me, he wanted to meet at the park. He said he had something for me, so those were my plans for that day.
"Hi Changbin!" he said as I approached the bench. Why was he always there before me? "Hi Lix" What did I just say?
"I like that nickname" he giggled "sit down" and so I did.
"Here! I don't know if you'll like it but I hope you do" he held out a small white box. I took it from him and opened it to see two slices of strawberry cake . Felix always made me smile.
"I love strawberry cake. Thank you"
