Name: Maige Leonette VanDeventer
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Appearance: Purple colored hair dyed burgundy in a high ponytail with two hand-fulls of hair falling neatly over her shoulders. Cloudy blue eyes that seem to darken when exposed to moonlight. Pale skin. Various freckles. Commonly seen in a black and purple corset with a lilac top coat and black high waist-ed pants along with purple Victorian heels to match.
Biography: Maige's parents died when she was four years-old, her grandparents took care of her up until she was fifteen and kicked her out for "unruly" behavior of which she did not display at any given moment. Her fondness for the color purple started at the age of seventeen when she found a lilac top coat abandoned in a dumpster, it reminded her of how she was abandoned by her family and how cold she was. Later on she got a job and actually started taking care of herself. She got an apartment at the age of eighteen and finally got herself off the streets of London. And finally at the age of twenty, with an apartment stuffed full of various purple things, she got three part-time jobs; one as a maid, one as a store clerk at a thrift store, and lastly one at a pet shop.
PrologueIt was late in the night as the clouds cleared and Maige left work, her shoes clacking against the wet pavement. She sighed messing with a strand of hair. The day had just ended and yet she had no intention to do anything but go home and stare at the ceiling. Her life was rather boring.
She never went to parties, hung out at clubs, or chatted with her co-workers. Then again none of them wanted to get near her, nor was she ever invited to such events. All because she had this strange obsession with the color purple. Her corset was purple, her shoes were purple, her hat was purple, her top coat was a shade of purple. Hell Maige was even planning to wash out the hair dye and let her natural purple hair flow. But then people would make fun of her...and she wanted to avoid that entirely.
On the other hand she might as well take a walk through Hyde Park. It wouldn’t kill her to relax a little. She began to hum once she found a vacant area. In the far reaches of Maige’s conscience she thought she heard something, a muffled cry of sorts. But she played it off as just her imagination and the lack of sleep. Oh how she longed to sleep. But work was vicious and she rarely had any time to really sleep. Maybe if she forgot to- “AHHHHH!!!!” her eyes widened at the fearful shriek of someone’s last breath. No its just all the late-night horror books. You're tired thats all. she sighed and shook her head.
Convincing herself that it was her mere imagination. Though little by little as the sound of a chainsaw hung in the tense air she found her feet taking her closer to the scene of the crime. She hid behind a tree, a red dressed redhead stood over the corpse of a woman, images playing out what seemed to be her life. Maige put her hand over her mouth in horror and in a careless attempt to muffle her gasp.
Her breath caught in her throat when the man turned his gaze to her. His lips turning into a sickening grin that showed off shark like teeth. Maige took a few steps back, the only expression to be seen was in her eyes, those cloudy-blue eyes.~~~Hope you enjooooooyyeed~!
