The Town of Frostwallow

Chapter 19: "MISSING since September 14, 2018"

The weather was a bit gloomy for today. Lilith just woke up, it's a school day and rare as it is, Lucas would be driving her to school. He just got his new car which was a gift from his dad. Lilith and Lucas have been dating for almost a year now, but she still hasn't met his parents. She's seen his mom but never his father. She said his dad works in the different town which makes him stay with his mom for the long span of time they've been staying at Frostwallow.

Lux opened Lilith's door which made her look at that direction. She was already picking the clothes she'd be wearing for today.

"Mom said you should be ready in fifteen," he said and sat on her bed.

"Fifteen? I told her Lucas would be the one to drive me to school today," she said as she picked the black blouse she likes the most.

"I think she does. I'll just ride my bike to school, I don't wanna bother mom either," Lux said and stood up. "I'll let you use the bathroom first," he smiled and walked out of her room.

Lux is a sweet kid, he doesn't show it a lot but he's the most affectionate child Lilith ever knew. She took her bath in the shared bathroom they have. She was always the one to clean it, which annoys her every time Lux leaves his towel on the ground. They've fought hundreds of times because of it.

Lilith finished off her bath and dried herself before getting ready in her room. She was pulling up her pants when she heard the door open. It's obviously her mom, it's only her who does that.

"Mom, I'm not finished putting my clothes on," Lilith whined making her mom sigh.

"Hurry up, Lilith. Your boyfriend's waiting outside."

"He's already there?!" she exclaimed whilst putting on her clothes as fast as she can.

"Yes he is, now hurry."

She grabbed her phone and book bag, not even bothering to put on her usual make up and brushing her hair. She ran out her room screaming "Bye" to Lux who was startled while picking his clothes. Lilith opened the door and her mom wasn't lying that Lucas was already there.

"Hey, pretty," Lucas said as she got in. "Woke up late?"

"A bit," she chuckled. "You don't mind me getting ready in your new car?" she grinned.

"Not at all," he smirked before stepping on the gas.

"My dad actually wants to meet you," he said. "He's here, in Frostwallow I mean."

"I thought he lives two towns away?"

"Well he moved back here because of his work," Lucas said as he took a turn. Lilith saw Autumn walking with a guy she haven't seen before making her stop and look at them. The guy had curly hair and was taller than Autumn. He held her hand but she immediately pulled away.

"Lil? Hey, I'm talking to you," Lucas laughed and Lilith shook her head before taking her phone and typing away.

"You're preoccupied huh?" Lucas asked.

"Yeah later," Lilith mumbled.

Lucas just shook his head and parked the car in front of the school. There were a lot of people at the quad, making Lilith get out of the car quickly when she saw Seige standing there staring at a poster.

"What happened? Why are there a lot of people?" Lilith asked, Lucas running to catch up on her.

Seige simply pointed at the poster in front of her.
