Chapter 34

Fact #3: Mito saw Kakashi's face at a young age but Kakashi didn't want her seeing what's under his mask, she was just curious, so one day they were training in a meadow, they both fell asleep, Mito woke up and stared at Kakashi's mask for a bit before seeing what's under it, she took it off slowly until she saw his face. However, when she noticed Kakashi began to wake up, she panicked and pulled the mask over his face and stretched it to its limit to the point that when she let go, it made a slapping noise on Kakashi's face causing him to get up quickly. This all happened when Mito was merely three, so she doesn't remember anything.

Mito was eight months and a half into her pregnancy. Her belly has gotten exceptionally big. She's been traveling with Sasuke for quite a while now, but sends messages of updates to her friends via bird from time to time.

She and Sasuke were going on a walk in the forest when Mito fell on the ground without warning.

Sasuke stopped walking and went back to her, "Are you alright?" He asked.

"Sorry, Sasuke-kun. My body isn't in a good condition lately." She explained sheepishly.

"Do you have any idea what's going on?" Sasuke asked nervously.

"Idea, eh..." she thought as she gulped, "Hey, is there a hospital in this area?"

"Not exactly a hospital, but some place you can be examined." Sasuke answered, "What's wrong?"

"I don't know for sure, but I'll talk while we walk." She said.

Sasuke has lead them to a hideout where he asked Karin to examine Mito.

"Fine," she said, "but you owe me."

A few examinations later and Karin came back with the results.

"Is this for real?" Sasuke asked

"No way!" Mito said in surprise. "I'm going into labor already..?" Mito asked breathless.

Karin nodded, "Looks like it. And what are you guys doing at a place like this?! If it's just traveling, then maybe you can take her to a hospital Sasuke?"

"It's too far to go back to the village from here. And Mito is a jinchuuriki, a normal hospital wouldn't help." Sasuke explained.

"But we don't even know how long it would take, we'll be troubling Karin-san..." Mito said softly.

"Well, I don't really mind." Karin said quickly, adjusting her glasses, "but this is Orochimaru's hideout, not a Hospital!"

Mito gulped.

"In this case, I am also asking you to take care of her, we will go after it's finished." Sasuke said, not waiting for a reply expecting Karin to do as he said and walked away.

"Sasuke!" Karin yelled, "You could find a hospital in a nearby village, maybe even a special one since she's a 'Jinchuuriki'! Why did you even bother to come to this hideout?!"

"..."

"Besides, this place is under Orochimaru's control, somehow giving birth here is kind of..." Karin decided to not say anything more.

Mito looked at Sasuke.

"But this is... the place you are managing, right?" Sasuke asked.

"But... It's your baby! It's very important for you!" Karin objected.

"I trust you," Sasuke said suddenly.

Karin looked stunned.

"I came here precisely because it's important to me." Sasuke informed, "And because Mito says she trusts you..." he states.
