Final Mission: Avengers Infinity War fanfiction

Chapter 11

Sarah continued to block Proxima's attacks but one made her stagger back with a groan, Proxima went to attack Sarah again but a kick to Sarah's foot made her slip backwards barely missing the blade that came inches from her throat.

"Did Aunt Natasha teach you that move?" She asked Steve, he nodded "She did that to me when Bucky was still the winter soldier and he was just about to..." Steve trailed off "Nevermind." He said. Sarah looked confused but shrugged and blocked Proxima's attack in time before she could get to Bucky "Thanks Sarah." He said. Sarah nodded and smiled. How long has it been since the three of them fought together as a family?

Hmm...maybe a year, considering that they would go through portals and end up in space where she would have to save them. Don't ask how they would do that. Sarah continued to block attacks until Proxima managed to punch her making Sarah stagger back before a kick to the stomach made her fall to the ground. She was in a daze, but she stood up and slowly looked around the battlefield.

Holy crap, she's seen battles before, heck she's even managed to travel back in time to when Steve and Bucky were in the war but..she's never seen anything like this. Many of Wakanda warriors were getting killed, some were getting injured. Kira was trying her best to keep the outriders away from biting her. Wanda was really focusing on her magic, Natasha and Okoye were concentrating as well. Bruce, Sam, Rhodey, Thor, Rocket, Groot, T'Challa, Steve, and Bucky.....could she really save all of them?

Her ears were ringing, she felt panic rise in her. What about Tony? And the others! They were fighting Thano's! She clutched her burnt shoulder, her breathing picked up. What if she couldn't save them all? What if they all died? What if? What if? What if? Suddenly Bucky pushed Sarah to the ground while Steve kicked Proxima away from his daughter and husband.

"Sarah! Get your head in the game!" Bucky yelled, he's never seen her this scared in a fight before. Sarah looked at him "D-Dad..." "Look, I know your scared and I am too. But you gotta focus, ok? You need to be strong.." His tone was filled with concern and worry, Sarah nodded and felt a rush of energy go through her. It's like the reality stone was giving her the confidence to stand up, stand up and fight.

Sarah looked to her right to see a thresher coming their way, she got an idea. She used her magic to push Bucky and Steve to the ground then used her magic to lift Proxima up into the thresher which resulted in blue blood falling on Sarah's face.

"Ew, now that's just gross." Sarah said wiping her face, Steve and Bucky chuckled before they all climbed out of the ditch. "Guys we got a Vision situation here!" Sam suddenly yelled. Sarah looked at the palace to see Vision and Corvus falling into the forest "Somebody get to Vision!" Steve yelled. He and Sarah looked at each other and nodded.

They both began to running towards Vision, Bucky tried to go with them but had to deal with outriders that came his way. Sarah and Steve ran the same speed which was really fast, she never knew that they could move that fast before. Steve tackles Corvus and Sarah rushes to Vision "Are you ok?" She asks, he nods. 'Sarah, is he ok?!' Wanda thinks to her, clearly worried.

'He's fine!' 'I'm on my way.' Wanda says, "Get out of here!" Steve yells, Sarah looks back at him "Go!" He yells and throws a punch at Corvus. Sarah's anxiety starts back up, crap what does she do? She needs to get Vision and herself to safety since they both are technically targets. But she couldn't leave Steve. Vision weakly hands her Corvus's spear, he smiles and she quickly grabs it and stabs Corvus with it. He falls dead to the ground and Sarah is left panting.

"Thought I told you two to get out of here." Steve says looking at her and at Vision. Sarah smirked "And leave you to die at tha hands of a alien? I don't think so." The others have joined up and Kira is attacking her girlfriend with kisses while Bucky scolds his husband and child for not waiting for him. Wanda goes to Vision to check on him. Suddenly a shiver runs down Sarah's spine.

Winds seemed to have picked up and she looked around in fear, oh god....no...."He's here..." Sarah says. And he has the time stone.
