Willow Charles is thirteen years old and lives with her mother Elizabeth and her younger brother James.

Willows father George has recently passed away and her mother sadly, was in an awful state.

Willow lives in the south of Essex in a small apartment. Her poorly mother could barely support her family since George died. Elizabeth was fired from not concentrating and mostly showing up late at work.

Willow was a happy teenager despite her unfortunate. She tried to stay positive and look at the bright side of most things.

On a windy day in November, Elizabeth received a letter from her sister Victoria. That was strange because after a fight they had not spoken in around two years. She did not even go to the funeral.

The letter said that Victoria was visiting on the 24th of December. 'Why would she visit?' Elizabeth thought, curious. Victoria was visiting her when they have not spoken or seen each other in ages.

Elizabeth left the letter on her desk and walked away. Willow was feeling nosy, picked it up and read it. Her eyes widen. Willow was so excited to see her aunt again.

*1 month later*

Willow save up money for the past month and finally had enough to buy a long lace dress.

Willow slipped the dress on and checked herself out on her wooden mirror beside her bed. She put on her cute heart shaped necklace her Dad gave her and she put her hair in neat braids.

Elizabeth was still in a mess from the tragedy that happened a couple of months back but that does not mean to dress up and accessorize.

Victoria stopped at the apartment on her horse and cart. Willow ran up to her, hugged her and pulled out freshly picked roses from behind her back.

Willow overheard stories after Victoria left no one heard from her since.

"Thank you dear. Where's Elizabeth?"

Victoria asked curiously.

"She's in her room. She's still very sad about Dad" Willow explained, "She's in a real mess now, No one can cheer her up or make her snap out of drinking."

Victoria gasped and did not know what to say. She should have been the older sister looking after her. Elizabeth was always a strong girl. After her Mother got murder, Elizabeth was positive nine year old.

Willow walked into the house and Victoria followed.

Inside the house was a mess. There were bill letters scattered everywhere. The house was a mess and could take long time to repair.

'I wonder what the kids think of this' Victoria thought

"Hi Elizabeth" Victoria said, forcing a smile.

Elizabeth turned around and looked a mess. Her hair was scraggly and blue bags formed under her eyes.

"Hi" she mumbled. She said one word and you knew clearly needed help.

"I was thinking..." Victoria said, avoiding eye contact, "I can take Willow and James for a short trip with me"

Tears fell from her eyes. "Okay."

It was that simple, But first Elizabeth needed help.
