Tonight they had went out down to town, walking down the street of the city, after, went back to John and Paul's loft, where Paul opened"" up a bottle of alcohol with a new opener he had bought. Eventually one bottle turned to two. Luckily Paul was a wine expert, he didn't like drinkinunless it was wine,
They all were gathered around the bar in the kitchen. Paul and George were sitting next to each other the stools, having a giddy conversation about some TV show they were obsessed with that neither John nor Ringo care about. Paul was holding his wine glass loosely in his fingers, leaning on marble counter with his elbow. George was slumped on the counter, his glass firm on the surface while he rested his chin against the rim, only lifting his face up to laugh and lean into Paul when he brought up something about the show that got him excited.
John and Ringo watch them in amusement from across the bar, not quite as drunk as their boyfriends. George is laughing and leaning into Paul, and Paul is laughing back, an uncharacteristic loudly laugh only came when he was really drunk. trying not to spill his wine but failing horribly. John chuckled and nudged Ringo, keeping his voice down to mummer , "hey, our boyfriends are cute together aren't they?" Ringo gulps down the mouthful of wine he was holding in his mouthful lightly with a nod, looking between the two men across from him, "yeah they are." "
"Hey," George is calling to them, louder than he needed to and words slurring, "what are you two talking about over there?" Ringo and John just laugh louder together, both sharing looks, before John answers for him, "just saying what a couple of lucky guys we are." Ringo snorts!
"Yeah I don't know how," George teases back, then looks to Paul, "why do we put up with them?" Paul giggles and sends a look towards John, shrugging, "I guess it's because they're cute?" lohn winks back at him and then playfully nudges before. "Oh yeah," Ringo nods, hunched over his glass and smirking in George, "you know I was jealous first. George was talking about his new job and how his boss was super good-looking and I was worried." "Ringo!" George yells at him, attempting to lean over the bar and swat at him but falling short by a good foot. Paul hides his face in his hands, shoulders shaking with laughter.
John cackles loudly before composing himself and wiggling his eyebrows at George. That's ok George, I take that as a compliment." Paul rolls his eyes at him, but John just shrugs and keeps talking, this time directed towards Ringo, bringing their original topic, "I mean I wouldn't be offended, you know, you are cute together, right Ringo?" Ringo nods, taking another gulp of wine, "yeah wouldn't mind you two, you know -" "Ringo!" George cuts him off, whining, while John burst out laughing "What?" Ringo points an accusing finger at John.
Paul tosses a wine cork at him, which John, even drunk, is quick to swat it away with his hand. Then he stares back at him, talking as if Paul hadn't just thrown something at him, "c'mon Paul, you wouldn't want to make out with George?" "John," Paul chastises him, wishing he had that wine cork back to throw at him now. He fumbles to find another one somewhere on the counter. Yeah, George," Ringo joins in, "how 'bout it?" George and Paul are both blushing, shaking their heads and avoiding looking at each other, tease them, saying things like 'c'mon you don't know you want to,' and, 'it's no big deal,' and, just do it, it'l be fun. After a few moments of their teasing words George finally turns to Paul, "ok, ok, just to shut them up, alright?" Paul covers his face with his hands, beyond embarrassed, but he's laughing into his hands. Then he composes himself, nodding and straightening his back, "a-alright."
John and Ringo cheer, both excessively clapping. George makes the first move, grabbing Paul by the back of his head and tugging him down to a sloppy kiss, his drunkenness and Paul's delayed reaction makes their teeth knock painfully. They adjust quickly though, laughing into each other mouths, and kissing more, moving their lips slowly against each other. Paul reaches a hand up, gently grabbing the side of his face, making John and Ringo whoop. they get quiet, watching silently as George pulls Paul closer, adding a hand to wrap around his neck as he adds his tongue into the mix, making Paul gasp. Paul leans into the touch, slipping the stool to the edge of the seat and bringing his other head to George's waist.
