We arrived at the gathering. Dad said he would be waiting for us in the car when it finished. Mom said it was okay and we went on our way.

The ceremony is held in a big arena, I heard than before it was a stadium where we went to watch people doing sports like football or baseball nowadays we still practice but is amateur, how can humans compete with wolves and vamps who are stronger? And woman's league? Supers go crazy if one of us is ill, look at Mom, for example, she had cancer and they treated her just in case she was one of their mates.

Minutes later we watch as Danielle and her mother came to talk with us. Both were wearing white dresses but now that I look better Danielle's skirt is shorter than the rest, Danielle is different from most girls she isn't scared of being a Super's mate, in fact she desires it, according to her if you become their bride you won't have to live this live full of hard work and the barest of necessities and go for a live full of luxuries .

"Hello Marisa how are you" Her mother ask Mom 

"I am as fine as you can when you are here, Denise"

"Well, at least they don't like how you smell and kept away for you" Denise answers.

"Sang, Marie, Do you remember that I had cancer, well according to Supers I smell rotten due to it so they don't like how I smell"

When Supers came here they change a lot of things apart from making us the bottom of the chain, they decided that healthcare was extremely important (how can they find their mate if she is dead) due to that healthcare became public, and not only that but it improved immensely because some Supers have abilities and one of them is healing, so healers improved healthcare. Well the important fact is that Mom cancer was cured.

Now having abilities is pretty rare, and some are very scary, all the Kings have abilities, from what I hear. Marie and Danielle told me one of them controls water, another can read minds and they even told me that once one of the Kings killed someone with just a look.

"Sang, since they don't like my smell if you stay by my side they won't come near you. OK" I look at her, pretty relieved because they are very scary and nod.

"OK, now before the ceremony all girls gather around the arena, so the Liaison can give some words, the ceremony itself only begins at twelve o clock. Now be around me and Denise all the time and don't wander around, there are a lot of people here. I don't want you to get lost."

"Like Dad 'Mistress" Marie answered.

I gasped at my sister, I can't believe she said something like that.

"Marie" Mom frowned.

At that Denise snorted, "You aren't the most discreet person neither Marisa"
