Shadows pov

"Shadow you should go home youv'e been working for over 12 hours its not good for you." i head a familiar voice behind me say then i turn around only to meet with teal eyes that was fild with concerned and worry.

"no rouge i'm fine, thank you though" i said as i faced back to my desk that had papers all over it and had a computer right in front of me.

she then turned my chair around so i could face her, the eyes that was once filled with concern was now filled with anger and frustration." your going home if you like it or not mister....."

"why should i listen to you rouge, your not my boss" i said back to her face which was a big mistake.

"i know that you bu fun i'm only looking out for you......Why don't you want to go home?" she said as she calmed down her eyes were back to worry and concern.

"......i feel lonely there" i said as i looked away from her eyes

"Shadow why didn't you tell me maybe you can stay at my house with me it will make you less alone" she said as she tried to cheer me up

"no its okay, ill go home bye rouge" i said as i grabbed my jacket and put it over my shoulder and started to walk to the door.

"Bye hun...." she said with concern in her voice.

i was now walking home in the cold and wet whether that seemed to only get worse by the second. Only if i bout the chaos the emerald maybe i wouldn't be so soaking wet and cold. I hatted rain it was so cold and wet.

When i was walking everyone made sure that they weren't in my way i didn't blame them i wasn't the nicest guy in the world.It did't bother me but sometimes it can get very annoying since you have so little people to talk to. i cant really make friends since i was always so afraid that they will be taken away from me...

as i kept on walking i was in interrupted as i stopped walking when i heard a small cry that seemed to be worn out and tired.When i looked to the direction i heard it coming from i saw a small brown box that was torn and seemed to be getting wet from all the rain that was pouring from the cloudy sky.

i stared to walk to the brown box that seemed were the crying came from and bent down and slowly opened the box to only reveal a royal blue hedge that seemed to be very scared and shivering from all the coldness.I looked around to see if its parents were around but isaw no one. its eyes were closed so tight that i think that he as never opened them before.

i felt pity for the blur guy so i slowly and carefully picked up the smaller one and it seemed to only cuddle into my chest fur and started to purr. It seemed to like my fur better then the box, i coudnt just leave him there so i took of my jacket and gave it to the baby and wrapped it around him once he felt the warmth around him he stopped shivering.

Then i started to walk back to my house only to get stares and gasps of all the people that i walked past. I just ignored them they were not worth my time, it seemed like he fell asleep once he was filled with warmth so once i got to my home i put him on my king sized bed and put pillows all over him so he would not fall of the bed. i then walked down stares to only see one of my other friend silver sitting on the couch. Dos he even knock? oh well
