Zeus said a couple more words to the crowds before he dismissed them from the large room. The various residents that had come to gather in Olympus said their goodbyes before all exiting the room quickly. After a couple minutes, the only ones left in the room were the seven boys in the center, Zeus, and a couple other of the Gods and Goddesses beside him.
Suga stood with his head down and covered with his black hooded cloak. He stared down at the white marble, waiting for Zeus to let them go as well. The other boys were talking animatedly amongst each other a couple feet away from him. They all seemed to know each other fairly well, while he knew no one. Needless to say, he felt awkward and very out of place.
"Now, this is a strong looking group," Zeus' voice bellowed around them. It must have been the empty stands, but now his voice was even more loud and booming in Suga's ears. "I'm sure you all have some questions, but first, I must meet with your parents as it seems they too have questions of their own."
"What about Hades? He isn't here," Suga heard one of the boys speak up beside him. He lifted his head slightly and saw it was JHope addressing Zeus. He stood with his back straight and eyes set on the God before him. "How will you speak to him?"
Zeus tapped a large finger against his beard. "My, JHope, you seem to have grown quite fond of Suga quickly."
"He is one of the seven chosen. He should be given the same treatment as everyone else," JHope said back smoothly. Suga admired him.
"Son, surely you don't think it was beyond Zeus to think of that. But do you see him here? And no one has gone to the Underworld in years," a man stood and Suga matched him to the statue of Apollo. His bright red hair was also a dead giveaway as well since it matched JHope's. "In fact, that is one of the things I am concerned about, Zeus. You have chosen Suga, son of Hades, and have you even considered who his father is?"
Suga dropped his gaze back to the ground. The way they spoke about his father made him want to disappear. He didn't think he was the greatest God out there, and sure, he had his faults. But he was a God all the same.
"Father, you should not speak so freely about those who can hear you," JHope said, his voice strong in Suga's ears. "We will leave now so that you can all discuss whatever it is that you want to speak about without us listening."
Suga felt a hand on his arm and he looked over at JHope who was giving him the warmest smile he had ever seen. "Come on, Suga. I'll show you around."
"Okay," Suga nodded and made himself walk as JHope led him out of the room. There was something so strange about this boy.
He felt like he knew him somehow.
The two boys walked out of the room and the others followed after them shortly after. They all walked towards the main plaza area and soon they found themselves standing in front of the large fountain with three statues in the center. Suga stood in front of the statues as the others took a seat on the fountain's ledge.
"So there are three brothers," Suga muttered as he read the small engraving by the fountain.
Hades (Left). Zeus (Center). Poseidon (Right). The three brothers of the Underworld, Sky, and Sea.
The three figures were large and obviously sculpted to capture every member's distinct features. Zeus in the center was the largest, his full beard and hair seemed so real that Suga had to blink to make sure he wasn't seeing it move in the wind. Hades and Poseidon had the same beard, except of a much shorter fashion and less wild looking. They all resembled one another, bearing the same grimace on their face as if the sculptor looked only at one face when creating the statues. Suga had to stop himself from looking too long at Hades' eyes, as he felt himself start falling forward into a void.
