Days passed and Akari had gotten bored sitting around in bed all day long. She made an attempt at sleeping, though it felt far too foreign for her. She wasn't exactly sure how mortals slept so soundly without a care in the world. There was so much to do, yet she couldn't partake in helping the others.

Finally, after tossing and turning so many times, she'd found serenity and fell into a deep slumber.

Now in another void of darkness, the girl was completely alone with her thoughts once again.

"Alone... why am I always alone?"

A light shined in her eyes and she lifted an arm to shield them from the obnoxiously bright sun that now cast itself above her head. She was at the small pool of water once again; her white and blue themed colors returning to her hair, eyes, and horns.

"Hello, little Nanami." Narrowing her eyes, she found that the two Castanics from her first dream had come to greet her as though they hadn't moved since she left them.

"Hello." She greeted them in return, completely turning her body to face them.

"We told you we would see each other again soon." The woman smiled kindly.

"Yes, you did... if it is too rude to ask, you are not obliged to answer but... who are you? And why do you insist on calling me Nanami?"

"We can't exactly tell you who we are. It's something you need to figure out on your own. As for us calling you 'Namami,' that was the name you were given when you were born." The man explained.

"Born?" She raised an eyebrow. "I was not born. I was created from clay by Madame in memory of the Castanics that were wiped out."

"Is that what that witch told you?" The woman spat, expressing her evident hatred for the girl's mistress. Upon catching Akari stare at her with bewilderment, she composed herself from her sour state and reverted back to being as sweet as a gumdrop. "Listen here, Nanami." She placed her hands on her shoulders. "Whatever that woman told you has been a horrible lie. Do not trust her."

"And... why should I trust you in her place? She is all I have ever known, while you two are complete strangers. I do not even know your names or what you are to me."

"You know exactly who we are." The man insisted. "You know that you had a life; that you were your own person before that witch came and took everything. All you need to do is remember."

"How do I remember? How do you become the person you... forgotten you ever were?"

"Think. Try to familiarize yourself with the things you already know. What may seem unexplainably important to you now may have been important to you when you remembered everything."

The woman kissed Akari's forehead; that kind and compassionate smile still on her face.

"Good luck, my darling girl."

In was evening when the Castanic had woken up again.

"Familiarize..." She muttered to herself. "How am I supposed to do that?"

Though her body was still healing from its injuries, Akari kicked her silk sheets off and sat up quickly, pushing herself out of bed. If she continued to stay in one place, she would've driven herself mad.
