Daddy Daughter Bonding

After Niall was able to put Emma down last night she stayed asleep until around 8 o'clock. Which Louis was eternally grateful for, since he got to sleep at least 4 hours.

But that is mostly what everyone warned him about taking care of a newborn. (no sleep).It wasn't the first time he had experienced it, because when he lived at home the twins were always up and he often helped his mum when he could.

But that didn't mean he was used to not getting any sleep, it had been years since he lived at home.

This time when Emma woke up she wasn't screaming, just a little whimper and her moving all over her bassinet with her mouth open. Niall and Harry had both told him that was a cue that she was hungry.

So he got up quietly and made his way to the kitchen being extra quiet when he passed the guest room (so he didn't wake up Niall, just because he was up didn't mean that he needed Niall up at this ungodly hour.) He made her a bottle, setting it in a teacup of hot water, then making sure to test it on his wrist.

When he reached his room again, this time Emma was starting to cry. So he quickly got settled in his bed and then picked her up and calmed her down. Then finally gave her the bottle.

Louis had found that he really enjoyed this time with Emma while he was feeding her. It really gave them a chance to bond. The way she would look up at him and smile a bit, and then milk would dribble out of her mouth because she was smiling so much. Louis would coo at her and then wipe the little dribble away, and she would continue to drink away.

She took about an hour to finish the whole bottle, but Louis didn't mind. When she finished Louis burped her and she drifted off and fell asleep on her new daddy. Soon after wards Louis drifted off as well.

Sorry It was a short one but Im not at home and Im kind of busy. But I really wanted to put a chapter up for you guys. So this is a filler chapter. I will update soon.
