You shook your head. Are you really doing this? You're 23 years old for Christ's sake! You're too old for trick or treating. The only reason you're doing this is because your best friend Hanji had convinced you to. //BOOMF//
"Oowww...." you mumbled from beneath Hanjis form.
"Haha hurry up slow poke!" Hanji laughed, bouncing slightly on your back.
You push her off, and lift yourself until your arms were straight, your weight on your hands.
"We're both to old for this, Hanji!" You sigh.
"How are we to old for free candy?!?!"
Finally pushing yourself into a standing position, you look at her costume. It was simple, a pair of cat ears, marker whiskers, and a tail pinned to her jeans. It was kinda cute.
"C'mon!" Hanji shouts, running off to join a group of friends. Before running off with her, you look at the group to see if you could distinguish any of your friends. A guy in a horse mask was talking to a freckled guy who was suspiciously dressed like Jesus. A short man stood in full tree costume. A guy with longish blonde hair stood next to a short browned haired guy. Armin and Eren. They weren't in costume. A girl, you recognized as Mikasa, stood very close to Eren's shoulder, silent, throwing death glares to those who accidentally brushed shoulders with him.
"YOURE BEING SO SLOOOOWWWW!!" You hear Hanji shout. With a laugh, you run to her, grabbing her hand. She pulls you towards the first house. This was going to be a long night.
//After trick or treating.//
With a groan, you finally reach your house, Hanji trailing behind you.
"I think I ate my weight in candy...." you say.
Hanji just leans forward to rest her head on your back.
"I'm soooooo tired." Hanji mumbles.
You dig out your key, and unlock your door. You both stumble forward, and onto the couch. You and Hanji snuggle on the couch, dozing off almost immediately. Right before you drift off, you hear Hanji say, "You're the best."
You feel a soft kiss pressed to the tip of your nose. With a small smile, you slip into a candy induced slumber.
