The Super Story of Katarina: The Saiyan Guardian

Dreams of a Saiyan Guardian

Voices echoed in my head, some familiar, others are strange... I looked around in the darkness. It was if I was in a blanket of darkness...  no light. 

It wasn't just normal darkness.

It was a darkness that had no hope for light...

I decided to go Super Saiyan to get some light, but this did not help me. It was too dark... 

"Well you are trying quite hard, aren't you?" A voice said behind me.

I jumped and turned around, looking at the glowing figure. It resembled Whis... 

"Whis?"

He smiled and chuckled. "Well, if you say so, Lady Katarina." His Whis characteristics were heightened when I called him Whis. 

"Where am I?"

"Well, we are in your head right now. Usually it isn't this dark in here. It's usually bright and whimsical." He took my hand and used his staff to brighten a path in front of us. 

"It gets dark when your thoughts turn that way." He leads me on the path, we walked hand and hand. 

"I never thought I would be here."

"Believe it Katarina." and I turned toward the sound of the voice. It was a flickering figure of Vegeta?

"Vegeta?"

His pale light started to become constant after my call. He looked at me and half smiled.

"Katarina? You..." and he ran up to me and took my hand.

"I thought you-" and he stopped when he saw Whis and he let go of my hand.

"What are you-" 

"Nevermind, Katarina. The main focus now is getting you to wake up." He said as he stood next to me, his light pale and weakening.

I looked over to Whis and noticed his light was brighter than Vegeta's. What did this mean? Why was Whis brighter than Vegeta in my head? 

"Well come on, Vegeta, you may be helpful in helping Lady Katarina wake up. " Vegeta automatically took my hand and we started to walk down the lightened path. 

We eventually found a palace that was a bright yellow. It was beautiful, elegant, and glowing. 

"Welcome to the home of your great thoughts. Your conscious lives here, Lady Katarina. She is basically the angel on your shoulder." Whis explained as he led me inside. The palace was beautiful inside. I saw many familiar faces and then there was a little girl that was at the end of the room.

"Excuse me, Miss, but we need to go see your mother." Whis said and she turned around... Harmony?

I stood there in awe... Harmony... my unborn daughter... her magical form is here.

"Momma?" She said and she hugged me. "What are you doing here? You should be fighting, heck you should be awake right now watching Uncle Goku fight!" 

"Well... um..."

"I know you are unconscious. You need to see your soul, my momma, your conscious."

I nodded and she smiled. "Well what are we waiting for?! Come mom, dad, Whis." and she led us to a stairwell.   

We ended up in a white,glowing room it was beautiful. There was figure with long black hair. Her clothes a pure white. She wore a cape of pure white and her hair was decorated in white flowers.

"Momma? I have a surprise for you!" Harmony said as she walked over to the glowing white figure and tugged on her sleeve.

"Oh? And what is it my child?" Her voice was kind and tender, resembling my own.

She turned around and there she was... she looked exactly like me. Her eyes filled with a wondrous glow, her cheeks a rosy pink. Her lips curved into a smile of contentment and peacefulness.

"Akari... it's nice to finally meet you." She seemed to glide as she walked, a graceful nature about her. Her outfit was a pure white dress with pants underneath.

She took my hands in her own.

"I'm your conscious, Akari. In sense I am you."

I looked to her and I was still in awe. She was beautiful, she resembled me but she seemed so authoritative and elegant. Her warming glow was comforting.

She smiled as I looked curiously looked at her.

"It must be odd seeing a version of yourself like me, especially after dark Katarina..."

I nodded and she looked at me with a warm smile.

"Do not be afraid, I am your goodness in your being, your angel on your shoulder. I would never harm you." She tucked a lock of hair behind my ear.

I smiled and she smiled back.

"My lady, I think we need to get on with helping Lady Katarina." Whis interrupted.

My conscious nodded. "Of course, Whis. Akari, you need to help me wake you up."

I nodded and she lead me to a mirror. It showed the battle going on... Goku is facing Hit...

"Wha-"

"Your sensing ability is still at work, making sure Goku is ok. That's that determination you have as a guardian at work."

"That's very interesting..."

"It is. You are remarkable, but of course... I'm a little bias... hehehehe." She lightly laughed, her laughter was fairy-like. I laughed a little too and she took my hands again.

"Now you need to focus. Who or what would you want to wake up for?"

I thought and looked around...

"For my friends and family." And I started to fade a bit as I said those words...

"Good, specifics?"

I started freaking out about my fading, but my conscious reassured me. I looked around and I saw Whis.

"To see my new friends."  I started to fade more.

Then I looked to Vegeta. "To see my best friend again and train with him." And he perked up, his color and his glow started to brighten a bit.

And lastly I looked to Harmony and my conscious. "And I want to live up to the expectations and promises I need to keep." And I started to fade more and more.

"And never forget that, Akari..." She said And I woke up... a cold cloth on my head, Whis and Vegeta at my sides.

Vegeta and Whis let out sighs of relief when they saw my eyes flutter open.

"Thank goodness you are ok." Vegeta said as he wrung out the cloth, put it in the cold water and placed it on my head again.

I smiled.

"It's great to be back." I said looking at Vegeta and Whis.

Whis smiled and then looked at the battle going on. Goku and Hit were going at it till. Beerus and Champa freak out and bicker.

After seeing my brother in kio-ken super Saiyan blue... I can see he was in a little bit of pain. Hit punched him, hardly, and Goku fell out of the ring.

I knew he did it on purpose. It was Goku. He did those kind of things. Of course Chi-Chi, Beerus, And Vegeta were none too happy, but Goku was being Goku.

He came back up to where I was and smiled at me.

"Hey sis! You ok? You've been taking quite a nap."

"I was knocked out cold, Goku..." I sat up and held my head in pain. "And I don't feel the greatest."

Goku nodded then gave me a hug. "I'm proud of you, Akari. You fought really hard out there and I'm glad to see how much you have grown as a fighter."

I smiled and hugged him back. "Thank you, Goku."

He smiled and let go of me. "Ready to go Manaka?" He said and Manaka looked at Hit with a deer caught in headlights look.

"Me?"
