( Hana )

Inside a local coffee shop near a campus, you'll see a Kang Hana flipping through her scribbles she calls notes while sipping her usual black coffee in a large cup. Her eyebrows furrowing when she can't decipher her own penmanship.

"Why do I write like a five-year old?" She stayed in the same position for more than three minutes until she finally gave up and decided to scroll through Twitter instead. Liking tweets here and there, scrolling through dog pictures and videos, tweeting about how she wanted a dog, the typical morning for Hana.

Finishing her coffee, she packed her things up, ready to leave for her morning class. She stuffed her pencil case and her charger in her bag and carried the notes she was supposed to be reading. She bid goodbye to the staff of the coffee shop who have gotten used to her and finally stepped out of the shop.

She untied her messy bun before redoing it again but in a high-ponytail instead. While walking, she puts on her earphones in hopes of muting the world around her while strolling along the street. Reaching the crossing, she met a familiar face who she doesn't see often anymore due to their classes being different.

"Hey, Hyeri" Hana greeted, removing one of her earphones to hear her friend. "How's life going for you?"

"Oh my god, Hana! Hi!" Hyeri broke into a big smile when Hana called and greeted her. "Life's still pretty boring, still a lonely pringle" Hyeri joked and nudge the side of her friend, like the good old times.

The two friends had catch-up with each other, taking turns in telling the stories about their new roommates and their hated professor. Two of them continued chatting with each other even after they crossed the street for they know that they won't be seeing each other that often anymore.

"I almost forgot, me and my roommates are throwing a party this coming Saturday at 8 in the evening, wanna join?" Hyeri asked, stoping at the front of the main campus where they separate.

"I'd love to, but," Hana sighed, "we have a group study at the same time, I have to pass this one."

Her friend immediately frowned. She was completely disappointed that Hana couldn't come, but she understand, studies always comes first.

Hyeri muttered an 'okay' before saying goodbye and completely separated their tracks. Hana also continued to walk to her class, not wanting to be late for the fifth time this week, she'll definitely be given after school detention because of this and she couldn't bare to even think about it, she hates after school detention. The thought made her walk quicker.

She wasn't late but she's also not early. The class was at full chaos when she entered though. The boys and the girls formed their own groups and were currently having a paper fight. She didn't want to be forcefully joined into this but she had no choice but to sit and join the catastrophe inside the class.
