"Wait up Veronica!" i call loudly after her as she walks back to the school and away from the police scene. She turns to look at me as Kevin and i walk towards her.

"The only time i enjoy seeing police is in brooklyn 99." she says, looking around. "You can be Amy Santiago and i'll be Rosa Diaz" she laughs.
"And i'll be the iconic Gina Linetti." i hear Cheryl say loud and clear from behind me.

She walks up to the two of us. "I'm so glad we're no longer acting like we cared about that dumb cow." she says, rolling her eyes. I giggle a little under my breath as she puts my thoughts into words.

"Well, i must be going now. Being a Blossom is always busy. Kisses." she states before walking off. I give her a quick wave, before turning to Veronica and Kevin.

"Cheryl Blossom is my spirit animal" Kevin gushes dramatically before walking away.
"This is honestly all so crazy." i say, rubbing my temples. She nods understandingly.

"Hopefully nobody in Riverdale did it. I'm not in the mood for another murderer here. All it means is house arrest for all of us non criminals as our parents try to keep us inside".

"Interesting way of looking at it." i tell her with a grin as Archie and Jughead approach.
Archie kisses the top of Veronica's head before they both say their goodbyes and head back inside. I turn to look at Jughead as he frowns.

"What's wrong?" i ask him. "Oh nothing. It's just i thought we were done with all of this crap, you know?" I nod at his words.

"The only person unphased is Cheryl." i comment as i watch her dramatically walk through the scene with narrow eyes, her hair pushed to the side.

We chuckle at the sight of her but quickly the laughter fades out and reality sets in. "I guess we should head inside huh." Jughead says to which i nod. "Yeah let's go."

As we walk towards the doors, i notice Peter standing alone, looking a little distracted. "You know what? I'll be a few minutes." i tell Jughead, walking towards Peter. "Would you like me to wait?" Jug asks. "No, go ahead, i'll meet you inside." i assure him.

"Hey, you alright?" i ask as i approach him. He jumps a little, being pulled out of his distracted state of mind. "Me? Uh, yeah! Fine." he says quickly, placing a wide smile on his face. I give him a small one, turning to look at the police cars lights flashing.

"It's crazy, isn't it." i sigh. "Nothing this bad was ever supposed to happen here."
"We don't know for sure it was here." he reminds me which i push away. "They're fairly certain it was someone here who murdered her."

Sheriff Keller, Kevin's dad, approaches us. "Hi Betty and um...he trails off. "Peter." Peter says. We exchange hellos with him before Peter asks. "Are their any updates on the case?" He gives us a little nod. "Well, we do believe we found the murder weapon." he tells us. "What is it?" i ask. "We think that the person came through her window and proceeded to strangle her with a cello bow." she says.

I remember the cello bow Archie bought her. Surely it's not the same one? The woman played the cello, she probably had many bows.
"Well id better get going. Stay safe". Sheriff Keller says before walking off.

I turn to look at Peter who is also looking at me. "Let's go back in." i tell him. He nods and walks over to the door, holding it open for me.
"Thank you" i say walking through.
"No problem" he replies letting the door shut behind him.

We walk into the courtyard and i notice him split away from me and walk in a different direction, towards his friends.

"I guess i'll see you around?" i ask him.
"Um, yeah see you around." he answers nervously. I giggle and walk over to greet my friends.
