"Penny!" I heard my sister's voice.
I turned around, a smile plastered on my face as I saw my older sister standing in the terminal.
"Emily!" I called, running towards her, she grabbed me up and threw me up in the air before giving me kisses on my face.
"I missed you so much!" she screamed, ignoring the glares from people as she put me down.
"I missed you too." I said with a smile.
"we have so much to talk about." I grabbed my luggage.
"yeah I know." she smiled. "Like all the hot guys you smashed."
"As if." I rolled my eyes.
"c'mon, I know how hot South Korean guys are." she winked and gave me a playful punch on my shoulder.
"well.... "
"you're torturing me here." she pouted.
"That's what I plan to do." I said, with a laugh.
"I mean you spent two years in Korea. Do you know how much I missed our conversations?" she asked.
"we talk over the phone, don't we? "
"I know, I know. So..." she said.
"I know what you're going to say. Korea was great. The food was delicious and the guys were hot. Now can we please stop talking about it."
She laughed. "Fuck I've missed you. It's a good thing you took language classes."
"Yeah. It wasn't easy communicating with people yunno. Most people over there can't speak English."
We were at the parking lot.
"Nice ride Em. " I whistled. "wait! How were you able to convince dad to get you a freaking Ferrari."
"I have my ways." she smirked. "Are you coming in?"
"yeah yeah."
"So there's something we need to talk about." she said as we made it out of the airport parking lot.
"what's that? "
"How are you?" she asked.
I'm confused.
"what? "
"How are you? " she repeated.
"I'm fine!" I said too quickly and she sighed.
"are you really Okay? "
"you bet I am. " I said with a bright smile.
"you can stop lying now." she paused. "I'm your older sister, I know when you're keeping things from me."
"look I'm Okay. I don't just want to talk about it right now. I just came back." I snapped.
"You shouldn't talk to me like that. I'm just trying to look out for you." she gave me a glare.
"I know you care about me and I'm sorry for snapping at you." I took a deep breath and continued. "it's been two years and you of all people know why I went away. All these years and dad never called. He only kept on sending me cash..." I stopped.
The traffic light turned red and she stopped.
"look at me Penny."
I looked at her.
