*Pipper's POV*
I swing the heavy door open. My legs move faster than I ever thought they could. His body becomes closer as I start running out of breath.
"Pipper please just stop running," his voice comes out softly. I stop and turn around. He runs up and scoops me up bridal style and walks us back to our room.
"We need to get going within the hour," he tells me. I don't say anything back just go to the bathroom to shower.
*Isiah's POV*
As the shower turns on, I start packing up both of our things. When I realize I could surprise her. Throwing on a pair of loose shorts and a grey t-shirt, I walk out of the room to a hallway filled with red and gold hues. The elevator is about a 2 minute walk from the room. I click the Lobby floor button and feel myself lower to the ground. The doors open and my eyes search for a convince store or gift shop of some sort. Luckily, there was one big room that combined both of those things. Finding the aisle with women's supplies. I grab 3 purple and white boxes of pregnancy tests. I grab 3 to ensure the correct answer. The man at the checkout counter gives a concerned look, but I just smile.
Rushing back to the hotel room, I don't want Pipper to walk out without me there. The elevator arrives with it's mirrors reflecting the disgust of perves lurking around. I reach my floor and the room. Right as I walked in the bathroom door opened.
"Here, baby, I thought you might like these," I smile at her followed up with a kiss on the forehead.
"Do I check right now," she asks with a voice searching for reassurance.
"Yes, of course, silly," I reply back. She scurry's off into the bathroom again almost tripping over the white towels.
I resume packing our things in a hurry.
*Pipper's POV*
The boxes prove to be somewhat difficult to open. I pee on each stick and wait around 10 mins for the results. I'm so nervous. Apart of me is excited if it's positive. Oh how our lives would change. Once I think about the changes that could take place, my heart starts pounding with freight.
Isiah knocks on the door, "Is everything okay in there?" I open the door with a worried look.
"What if they're positive," I ask.
"Then we get you prenatal vitamins and start searching for a doctor that you can go to," his answer is good for the time being. But what about after I would give birth is where my head is at.
After a few minutes, I grab one that reads, 'Positive.'
The 2nd one says positive as well. As does the 3rd.
"Isiah, they're all positive."
"Looks like we're having a kiddo, my love," his voice is happy along with his smile. I sit down for about another 10 minutes, processing the news I was just given. Isiah goes to finish packing. Eventually I stand up, my head starts rushing.
"Pipper, we need to leave now," his voice is stern. I walk out and throw my bag over my shoulder. He just grabs it off of my shoulder and shakes his head. We head out to the rental car. It's cold and brisk outside. The October fall is starting to surround the city.
"Are we going to my mom's?"
"In a bit. I figured we could go look around for awhile first," he answers me. The car starts and we drive away. The city surrounds the windows with a gleam of light following it. After about 20 minutes of driving, he pulls into a bistro. It's not too busy, but not completely empty.
