Once again, Rafael Barba goes to sleep alone as his girlfriend, Amanda Rollins, works another late night case. He began to wonder if it had anything to do with the loss of intimacy in their relationship. They barely spoke to each other. Even with their busy schedules they always find time to say something to each other. Rafael never knew he'd find himself laying in bed questioning his relationship with Amanda. He never saw it coming. While their relationship was off to a rocky start, they'd adjusted to being with each other because she was too broken to be with him, but he was too shy because it was the Amanda Rollins. But he found himself mesmerized with Amanda and he worshipped her. She was too scared and kept him at arms length, whereas Rafael fought his way loving Amanda and proving to her that she could trust him. She fell for him hard. She was fighting with herself and trying to deny it at first that he loved her, but he showed her what his true intentions were. To love her even though he knew how broken she was. She does love him, she adores him but she couldn't trust herself after every single relationship was a disaster.

He stayed up late but ended up dozing off before Amanda came home from work. She kicked her shoes off before climbing into bed, waking Rafael. "Hey," he murmured. "Hey. Sorry for waking you." Amanda leaned over and kissed Rafael.

"It's okay I was waiting for you to come home but I fell asleep.... Babe, do you feel like our relationship is falling apart?" He looked up at Amanda. "What...? Rafí, what are you talking about?" Amanda put her hand on his chest.

"Well, we never really see each other anymore except for the morning before we head to work.... we haven't spent alone time together..." He spoke softly.

"I'm sorry I'm putting in so much overtime... I guess I'm just too used to work being the center of my focus. Now, it's 2 am and I'm exhausted so I'm going to sleep." Amanda leaned down and kissed Rafael on the lips before laying down and falling asleep. Rafael laid down and wrapped his arms around Amanda as he fell asleep much better than he had in days. Amanda had been paged for a case before Rafael woke up, leaving him to be getting ready for work all alone.

He sighed when he woke up alone. "Maybe intimacy doesn't exist in this relationship anymore.." he spoke to himself, sadness sparked through his voice. He loved the snuggles and the kisses they shared. But now it seems as if it was forced. He sat up in bed and swung his feet over the edge with a sad look on his face as tears welled up. Could it be she was tired of being loved and adored by him? Was she really used to being treated badly? The realization really broke him as he got up out of bed, getting ready for work.

Amanda walked to Olivia's office, knocking on the doorjamb. Liv looked up from her phone, "yes Rollins?"

"Um, can I talk to you? Privately?" She murmured as she stood in the doorway of her boss's office awkwardly. "Come in, and close the door."

Amanda stepped in and closed the door, shuffling over to a chair in front of Olivia's desk. "What's up?" Liv asks. "I know this isn't a proper conversation to have in a work environment, but I really, really need a favor." Amanda took her lip in between her teeth as she looked down at her hands. Olivia was reluctant to ask what the favor was. She cleared her throat, "um... okay. What's the favor?" Her voice showing nervousness.

"Okay, this is dumb of me to ask," Amanda shook her head. "You know what? Never mind." She spoke quickly as she scrambled out of her seat.

"Is this a really personal favor?" Liv spoke up before Amanda had the chance to dart out of the office. Her hand stayed on the doorknob, Amanda suddenly became more shy than she was the moment she stepped foot in the office. She simply nodded.
