Harry sat there, nervously rubbing his hands on his knees. I knew he was working up the courage to speak, and I began feeling like I asked a question that was much more emotionally deeper than I thought. I put my hand on his knee,
"Harry, if you really don't want to answer, it's ok. I understand completely." Harry looked up at me, shaking his head before looking down at his hands.
"It's a bit hard for me to speak about, just because it's what started the downfall for my family's name." I nodded my head and sat back in my chair, looking at him. My heart ached for him while I watched the tears sting in his eyes,
"Gemini and I were really close, closer than a lot of people and their siblings. I feel like, it was probably because even before this happened, thanks to my dad, my family was looked down upon. Then when I was twenty, I was accused of attempted rape, and in my defense, she's the one who began making out and then got caught by her boyfriend... and I was oblivious about him. Luckily, she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her and dropped the charges after confessing to him she was cheating on him with me. He tried coming and whooping my ass but, you know." He lightly chuckled before sitting back in his seat,
"Not long after that accusation, Gemini ended up being pregnant. And of course the town had a field day with that, saying I got her pregnant and I raped her blah, blah blah. I mean, you got to be sick to think that way but, my dad is pretty sick, and not in a good way." I frowned in disgust, small town equals no life I guess.
"Gemini thought it would be best to leave after the baby was born and move out of the town. I think she didn't want Graham to grow up under the shadow of rumors and my dad, which I would probably do the same thing if I had a kid. Anyways, now he's almost 3, which is insane for me but time flies when you grow up." I smiled,
"So you're an uncle Harry, hmm?" Harry smirked and shook his head laughing,
"Yeah but to him still it comes out more like a Uncle Halley instead, but Gemini is enrolling him into nursery school finally so hopefully his l's will become r's." I laughed,
"Thank you for being willing to share that with me, it really means a lot." Harry nodded,
"Thank you for letting me feel like I can trust you and you believe me. Like I said, it's pretty hard for me to express any emotion, well any positive emotion. There's something special about you, T." He said as he stood up. He tossed a few more logs into the fire before turning around and facing me. He grabbed my hand, helping me stand up. He pulled me closer to him before pressing his lips against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck, playing with his hair on the back of his head. He pulled away and pressed his forehead against mine,
"Since we're already rushing and making out, I find it necessary that you should be my girlfriend. I don't want to be accused of anything else except being yours." I smiled and pecked his lips,
"I mean, I guess."He looked up at me before pressing his lips on my forehead,
"What time is it?" I looked at my watch,
"Almost ten, I'm ready for bed if you are." Harry nodded before walking over to the tent and grabbing his bag,
"I'll change out here, you can change in the tent." I nodded before stepping inside the tent and zipping open my bag. I grabbed my sweatpants and sweater before slipping them on.
"Are you decent?" Harry loudly asked. I laughed and unzipped the tent,
"Are we going to leave the fire going or?" Harry nodded,
"I threw in the last couple logs, so it'll probably be out by morning." Harry stepped inside the tent and zipped it shut before getting under the sleeping bag and blankets. I laid down next to him before turning on my side to face him. We laid there in serene silence, just staring at each other and taking everything in. Harry smirked after a while before pecking my lips,
"Are you sure you're okay with me sleeping next to you?" I nodded,
"I'm perfect. Goodnight Harry." I went to turn over on my other side,
"Wait, would you mind if we stayed up and talked a bit more. Not anything negative, just stories about our lives and such." I smiled and propped my head up on my hand,
"I'm ok with that." Harry smiled and laid on his back.

I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing, felt around the small tent trying to find it before I found it under my bag. My mom was calling,
"Hello?" I said groggily.
"Tanner? Where are you? I went to Kelsey's house to drop off some things for the church gathering tomorrow and you weren't there!" I pressed my fingers into my forehead,
"I'm ok mom, I'm with a friend. I'm ok, I'll be home soon." I hung up the phone rubbed my fingers against my temples. I slightly jumped when two arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me back down gently onto the makeshift bed. I groaned and nuzzled my head into Harry's chest.
"Who was that?" I sighed and rolled on my back,
"My mom, she found out I wasn't at Kelsey's and she's pissed. I need to get home soon, sadly." Harry laced his fingers with mine,
"Why do parents always got to ruin the mood?" I complained. Harry chuckled and sat up, grabbing my phone from the top of my bag. He slid his finger across the screen, unlocking the phone before tapping something and putting the phone up to his ear.
"Harry, what are you doing?" Harry ignored me,
"Hi Mrs. Koi, it's Harry. Tanner is with me, we're fine. We'll be home by dinner, I promise. Please don't worry about us, and no, we didn't do anything stupid last night except maybe eat too many mini chocolate bars while telling stories to each other." I tried grabbing the phone from Harry but he barely moved at my shoves and my attempts at grabbing the phone from his hand.
"Thank you Mrs. Koi, see you at dinner." Harry hung up the phone and laid back down.
"See, problem solved. Sometimes you girls just stress out over the little things. Just come back to bed with me, I'm tired." I rolled my eyes as Harry pulled me closer to him,
"Savage Harry, you're savage."
