Her 》 A Jenlisa One-Shot

Lisa sighed as she was rummaging through her keys, then opening the door to her unit, their unit.

The smell of her favorite fragrance filled her nostrils as she entered, lost memories filled her head and struck her heart, making a tear drop from her left eye. She switched on the lights, the unit was a mess.

Maybe if you were still here, you'd probably throw all the mess towards me and make me clean it all up.

Lisa smiled at the thought. She's seeing her clean up the pile of paper around the unit, while Lisa was goofing around and making the love of her life annoyed. The memory Lisa saw vanished when she set her bag on the table and made her way to the couch. It was still soft, like the first time they bought it. She remembered snuggling close to her love while they were watching any movie, eating, or warming themselves up against the coldness of the weather around them.

"You're such a dork", She would say to Lisa everytime she gains a cute reaction from her or when she makes Jennie laugh at her cute designs on her pancakes when they eat breakfast.

"That's why you're my bestfriend. We're both dorks. That's why I love you", Jennie said as she put her arms around Lisa and hugged her tightly as if Lisa was falling apart.

Lisa was really falling apart at the moment. Her heart was shattering into pieces, but she had to pretend that she's happy, no, she was really happy because she should be thankful, at least Jennie sees her as her bestfriend. At least she's still talking to her. Maybe it's better this way.

It's better that way, but no one can deny how hurt Lisa was everytime she wanted to be something more to Jennie.

Lisa knew she had to let go of Jennie, it's for their own good, but it's not that simple, now that her most-awaited day would be tomorrow. She remembered that she came back here because there was something that needs to be finished.

She has been in and out of town for the past weeks, her schedule busier than ever because of her job, that explains the dirty mess on her unit.

Every inch of the unit feels the same to Lisa. This is where, she felt real home, this is where Jennie and her spent their college days together, this is where she realized a lot of things, realized how hurt she was, but despite all of that, she knew this was still gonna be her home. She knew she would always come home to Jennie.

She would always come home to Jennie. It's always going to be her.

They knew each other since their elementary days, going to school, having lunch and going home, they did it all together. Lisa knew she liked Jennie since the first time she saw her, that feeling grew more and more until she finally admitted to her self that she, indeed was and still really in-love with the one and only Jennie Kim. Sure, they had fights, but it also made them close as ever, to the point where Jennie didn't trust anybody else in the school except Lisa. They started to protect each other since then.

It went on and they had the same dream for their future, it was a perfect friendship. They went to the same college and managed to contribute to buy their first ever unit together. The first week of their stay at their unit was a total disaster. Jennie was out doing groceries while Lisa on the other hand was practically burning the whole kitchen room. Jennie was really mad at that day, but still managed to heal Lisa's burn from the small fire she created, lucky Lisa.

By the little things Jennie does for her, she fell for her completely, it was very hard for her to keep this to her self knowing that she's her only bestfriend and she might lose her. She didn't want that. At that moment, she was happy that she has Jennie, she was happy to be with her all the time, and hopefully for the rest of their lives.
