Today was a regular half cold day. Nothing special. At least I think so.
It had been 2 years since Me and Michael broke up. 2 years since my little princess had been born. And 2 years since I've had a 'boyfriend'.
I choose to stay away from the dating scene for 2 reasons. I'm now a mother and Michael.
I stay away from the dating scene because Michael did break my heart when I found out he was cheating.
You can't just tell somebody that you want to do right and do the same thing you did back when you was in your 'Hoe-stage'.
I didn't let it break me down completely. I still do music and I'm happy for that. Mackenzie is a joyful as can be.
Whenever I see her, I smile so hard my cheeks hurt only part that hurts me was after Michael cheated I was thinking of getting an abortion.
Today, I had to drop her off to Michael. So I picked out her outfit and grabbed her backpack. She goes on the weekends and we share holidays.
You can tell he loves Mackenzie to death and Mackenzie loves Michael to death. It's cute and it makes me wonder what it would've been like if we were a family family.
"Mommy." Mackenzie small voice called out. I hummed in response. She was sitting on the bed just now waking up and rubbing her eyes. "Can I watch spongebob please." I laughed a bit at how she tried to put her words together.
"Yea baby." I said grabbing the remote. I turned on NickToons for her while trying to find her outfits for the rest of the weekend.
"I go to Dada house today?" She asked. I nodded before folding the outfits I picked out and put them in her bag.
"Come on let's get cleany and brush our teeth." I said going to pick her up. I put her on my hip while going to grab her towel and washcloth.
After I was finished washing her up I got her dressed as we made our way to Michael house.
I knocked and I can tell she was happy as can be. He opened the door and she jumped up and down before jumping in his arms and him catching her with ease. I smiled at her and shook my head before handing him the backpack.
A small ounce of sadness came over his face before he gave me a small smile. Mackenzie looked at us while we did this silent exchange. "I'll see you Sunday baby." I said to Mackenzie kissing her cheek and waving bye at Michael.
