Chapter 1: Bullied Zak

"My name is Zak Tolentino,18 years old.I graduated in Rizal Integrated Academy With High Honors with distinction of 96. My hobbies are writing poems, making novels and watching documentary series." After I uttered my introduction speech to my classmates and professor,I smile and chuckles confidently.

He is Zak. A freshmen from a known university.He is a rich kid, has an IPhone 7, G-Shack, a car, he is almost a perfect guy. He has a beautiful eyes, pointed nose, his lips is as red as the rose.His cheek compliments with his masculine chin. Except his eyeglass and fashion! It was a holy crap. His eyeglasses with a big lens and different patterns and designs surrounding it makes him uglier and cheap. As in super jeje!His fashion is so damn vomiting and bloating, it will cause flatulence and fainting when you see him in his faded pants that aged like hundred years ago. His big loose shirt with a printed spongebob and doraemon, his favorite cartoon character is always his theme of fashion. That is Zak.

"Very well said, Mr.Tolentino. Okay give hands for our smart newbie.Okay class who wants to ask something regarding the biography of Mr.Tolentino?" After our professor acknowlegded my speech, I saw my classmates raise their eyebrows to me.Then, my badass classmate raise his hand to ask me.

"Yes Mr. Domingo,what you want to ask to Mr.Tolentino"?

" Hey Zak, well we know that your smart, no doubt. I just wanna ask if how many girlfriends did you had, or how many women had you kissed?",then my classmates smile and it seems that they are too excited on my answer.

"Aahhmm, actually I had never kissed a woman or even had a relationship with them." I answered slowly.

The class became noisy and they laughed on what I said. Somebody is whispering on the other one, somebody is chuckling, somebody is laughing so loud.They shout at me.

"Booooooooo, the smart newbie is inexperienced."
" Zak, are you gay?"
"Yeah, we know because you are a nerd!"
"You, stupid guy!"
"Your fashion is way back 60's".
" Your ugly newbie, mind without beauty is useless!". These are the words I've heard after that nonsense question.I was bullied at that day. I am not expecting that they will treat me like that. My ego was hurt, I just close my fist and I want to punch them. They are too depriving and oppressing, I feel small and worthless at that time. A voice arouse and stop the noise and discordance of that room of perdition.

"Stoooooppppppppp! Will you please stop bullying! What if you are in his place, what will you feel? Before you browbeat others, look at your face first, are you perfect huh? Remember that A always comes first than B, because ATTITUDE first before BEAUTY!" A woman shouted to my classmates.

BTW, she is Kira Santiago. A freshmen who is also a nerd, but I look worse than hers. Her curly hairs and dark complexion made her look like Moana. A little bit.

I can't imagine that there is a person that will save me from millions of rumors and bullies. She is not that beautiful physically, but her heart is. She is a strong woman with dignity.

"Hey, the ugly, grotesque, monstrous lady is saving the nerdy newbie!You go with him!"The bully campus king shouted on her.

" Stop that fight! Everyone, you may now fix your things, one minute left, that's all for today. Okay goodbye class!" my professor utters.

My first day as freshmen in National Academy University is not that good as what I have expected. My classmates are bully, mean and superior. But, I proved that I can have a friend.

Next day of school, while I was walking on the lobby, I saw the woman who save me from my bonny and brag classmates.

"Hi, I am Zak Tolentino.I just want to say thank you for saving me at the same time sorry because you were bullied also!" I told to her.

"It's okay. I dont want to see a freshmen or newbie being deprived by others just because of their weaknesses and flaws!" I wad amazed by her. She is really adorable.

"Thank you,what's your name again?" I asked.

"Kira, Kira Santiago." and we shaked hands.

"Thank you Kira😁!" I answered.

"We will be friends Zak, just tell me if they oppressed you, you can count on me Zak!"

I was speechless that time, I have a new friend.We became friends that time and as she promised, she always save me from the bullies. In my freshmen years, I feel chuffy, valueless until a friend came into my life. Although I was bullied everyday, she is  always there to save  and rescue me everyday .

The first year of my college life had ended, it was so many ups and downs. Probably it is the most memorable year of my life.
