Chapter 1

The suns' aggressive rays reached underneath my closed eyes, only the dark red color filling my sight. I slowly batted my eyes open as the suns' stinging blistering heat set into my skin. I could feel the dryness of my mouth unable to replenish the feeling of cold clean water. I clenched my jaw at an attempt to sit up, to look around where I was. But my whole body felt as if it was pierced with needles.

Almost on cue of my weak struggle a voice appeared behind me. "Hey, we have another one over here!" A guys voice yelled, it rung into my ears as I could only attempt to flench. To weak to look at the voice two hands lifted off something heavy off of my legs as the blood rushed to them I flinched in pain. Then two hands grabbed my arms in an hopeful try to help me up.

Even though the burning of my skin made me want to give up I gained all of the small strength I had to get up with the helping hands. The hands put my weakest arm around his neck as we began to walk on the scorching sand.

As we got to what felt as cool grass, I was gently laid down onto the coolness of the new ground. My eyes slowly glanced open as I struggled to keep them open. "Here." A voice said as cold water dried on my lips. I took all my strength to grab the water bottle and sit my back against the closest tree.

As I drunk the bottle I because more and more sleepy. There was guy and girl voices but the tiredness stole my day away.

As I slowly woke up, my head pounding as if a hammer was hitting me. My cold hands reached my face as I sat in pain.
"Hey are you okay?" A new guy voice whispered to me as I just got dizzy. I took my hands away form my throbbing head.

I pushed myself with my back more into the tree as I looked at the new person through my long dark hair as a wall. "It's okay you know." He whispered as I got a scared look on my face.

At that moment I began to glance around. "W-where am I?" I asked still talking through my long curtain of dark hair.

"What's the last thing you remember?" He asked still whispering as if he knew I was in pain. I glanced around as I seen the scorching sun out on the beach as about 5 teens were searching a big metal scrap.

"I-I was on a plane, I was going home?" I asked as he could see the fear rise in my face. "Hey hey hey." He said quickly still in a quiet tone. "They." He gestured to the People on the beach, "They was on the plane to okay? Listen, we crashed." He said slowly but I couldn't move.

"Crashed?" My voice so faint if you wasn't listening you would have missed it. "Only a few of us made it." He admitted with a small upset look. "We think we're on a small tropical island, maybe somewhere in the Pacific." He said as he attempted to remember where his plane was suppose to fly over.

"The pilot?" I whispered still under a wall of dark hair. He looked at the grass underneath us as he bit his lip in regret. "He didn't make it." I shivered not in being cold, but fear. He could see in my face I was trying to process it all. "It's okay if you need time." He admitted as he sat still next to me.

I pushed some dark hair behind my ear as I loosened my death grip of my back and the tree. My throat felt warm as I became dizzy very quickly at the thought. "How many is, alive?" I choked up on the last word as I couldn't believe I was asking this in real life.

"As we know of, about five. Well six including you." He said as he shifted on the ground. "Do you want to try to meet them, or want to just hang out here for a while?" He asked still kind of in a whisper but a little louder now.

I shrugged as we stood at the same time, "Not like I'm leaving anytime soon, my as well meet them." I shivered again in fear as he offered me a small fake smile. "Sounds like a plan."

As we began to leave the shaded area and the once again hot sand, I realized the hunger I had. My small belly felt as if it was closing from eating no food, I took a deep breathe in and a slow breathe out, I'm okay stop complaining. We're all stuck here no need of this.

Immediately people began to walk over to us, I suppose to meet the new person.
"Okay so I'm Matt." The guy that's been helping me said. I noticed his dark brown cropped hair following along nicely with his Light blue eyes.

"That's Blake, he's the one that found you." He pointed to another guy about 17, again with cropped hair. His hair was more light, and his eyes were a dark brown.
"This is Maddie." He pointed to a girl about 17, with a mid-shoulder length bright brown hair color. Her eyes were many colors but I could stare or she'd think I was mental.

"This is Lexi." He gestured to a girl with long blonde thin hair followed with a pair dark brown eyes.
"And lastly Nick." He pointed once again to a guy with a red hair color with a light blue eye type.

I gave them a slight nod as we were all introduced. I soon realized they was waiting for to introduce myself.
"Oh hi I'm, I'm Ella." I said with a nervous pit in my stomach, but I did all I could to pretend it wasn't there.
Smooth. I told myself.
