Note: So I wanted to play around with the what-ifs, like if Ink really was a creator. That would mean he would have created everything, including people like Error.
And then this happened.----
"You're all just... my creations. You don't matter. Your choices don't matter. And it's all because I've been... selfish," Ink looked over at Error, eyes full of sadness and guilt. Error stood there, frozen. He couldn't possibly comprehend this. His expression grew cold as he took another angered step towards Ink. He grinned as best he could, but in reality he was terrified.
Ink looked away, laughing bitterly. "No matter what you do, you can't hurt me. I could delete you right here as if you never existed. You're not even real!" He turned quickly towards Error, a frustrated smile on his face. "...don't you get it?"
Error yelled back, his glitched form corrupting under his own emotion. "No wonder I hate you so much!" He laughed, loudly, unbridled insanity seeping into his voice. "YOU'RE THE REASON THERE'S SO MANY FILTHY GLITCHES IN THIS STUPID PLACE!"
He drew strings from his eyes, walking forward towards him. "All I need to do is get rid of you then! And then my job will be done!" He sent his strings at Ink, intending to ensnare him at the very least.
Instead Ink simply waved his hand, the strings disintegrating before they even reached him. Error stared, wide-eyed. He held back the urge to step back, instead sending another barrage of strings. They were met with the same result.
Ink turned to look at him fully. His laugh was laced with misery.
"I knew you wouldn't understand... I'm sorry for all I did to you, Error. You didn't deserve the pain I brought to you."
He quickly lunged at Error, grabbing his arm. He stared into Error's sockets with a blank expression. Error let out a high-pitched computer whine, his entire body becoming entangled in a glitchy mess. He tried desperately to claw at Ink, attempting to push the other off of him. He had always had an aversion to touch. Maybe that was his fault. Ink let out a heavy sigh, squeezing his eyes shut as he let go and stepped back.
The second his hand left Error's arm, Error began to melt. The memories of their "chance encounter," their battles, the connections they had made together, they all melted together now in front of him. Collecting all that he was, all that he would be. Error didn't even speak. He wasn't allowed to, anyway. He just stared at Ink, his face distorted and losing shape.
Ink stood over his body as it returned to what it once was, a pile of ink. Pictures on paper. An idea. Ink slowly fell to his knees. The universes he had created floated around him, as if mocking him. He felt like they were trying to crowd closer, as if reaching for him to do something, anything. They were nothing more than empty cries for help. Asking for something that he didn't deserve to receive.
That much, he knew.
