-Estelle's POV-

I walk out of the cafe with my honey lemon tea and I decide to hang around the square for a while. (quick A.N. I don't actually know if they call it a square out there, but they do here in Texas. BACK TO THE STORY!!!!) As I'm walking, I see kids running around and playing with their friends. I wish I was still that small. Not having many worries or problems in my life. Now, I have everything to worry about everything.

I see an empty bench by the large open field overlooking the paddock cross between Holloway and Bright Fields. In the distance I can see some of the Holloway students practicing. Man, they seem really good, but I know that combining the strengths of Bright Fields and Lake Annecy will make us unstoppable. Sure, Holloway has beaten Bright Fields before, but they've never seen us ride. Lake Annecy is one of the top riding academies in France. We are not one of the most well known, but we are one of the top ones.

I don't stay much longer after I finish my tea. I take down the last bit of my sweetened citrus and I toss the white styrofoam cup into the green can just inches away from the bench. I begin to walk back to Autumn's house until I feel my phone buzz inside of my pocket. I look at my phone to see texts from both Autumn and Marcus.

Marcus:

Can you come to the stables??? I need to talk to you...

Mkay......Lets see what Autumn said...

Autumn:

Hey, don't come back to the house.....I may or may not be having a moment with Pin....

Welp, I guess I'm going to the stable to meet with Marcus. I click back to go to my conversations with Marcus. I tap on the message bar to reply to his message.

Estelle:

Yeah, I'll be there in a few

I put my phone back in my pocket and begin to make my way to the stables. There's a nice cool breeze outside tonight. It cools down the summer heat and it feels great. The culture here is so much different than it was in France, but it's a nice kind of different. I mean, obviously the culture would be different, they're two different areas, but the way the island feels is so much different. Having a change of scenery has been nice. Home was kind of stressful, but it's been nice having a change in pace. Not only that, but the people are so nice out here. Well, everyone that I've met so far. It's all been very peaceful out here.

I turn the corner to see the small, green and white sign. I brush my fingers against the outline of the sign and make my way inside the property. I walk through the gates to see Marcus sitting on the fence of the patio.

"Hey Marcus."

"Oh, hey. I didn't hear you come around the corner"

Marcus jumps off of the fence and comes up next to me. I never realized how tall he was. And how pretty his eyes are. I can't tell if they're blue, green, or a blue-grey. They really are a nice color though. Estelle, snap out of it. You can't let this-

"Estelle? Are you alright?"

"Oh, yeah. I'm fine. Sorry, I guess I'm just a little tired after mine and Becky's training today."

"Alright. If you need to go back to Autumn's house, I can talk to you tomorrow."

"No, no, no, no. I'm fine, really. I'm just a little tired. Besides, Autumn told me that I could wander around if I wanted."
