"Look mommy your shadow is showing"
You turn around to see that you have a shadow
"Yes sweetie everybody has a shadow"
"Well wheres mine"
You look at your daughter to see that she doesn't have a shadow
You move her to where you're standing
When you move ur shadow moves
You soon realize that her shadow just won't come out
But then you think about it
Your inside your house
It's night outside
The only light on is the lamp and the tv
You get very confused and try to sort things out
"How could this be, it's not sunny inside. there's barley any lights on, what's happening"
You say this to yourself of course
You don't want to scare your daughter
You pay no mind to your out of place shadow and just watch tv
About an hour later your husband comes home
Your daughter rushes to his side and hugs him
You soon do the same, staying strong and not turning around to see if "your" shadow is still there
"Hi babe how was your day"
Your husband says
"Good, I took her to the park and to the library"
You say still dying to turn around to see if the shadow is still there
After getting deep into conversation you forget about the shadow until the next day
The next day
On this day your daughter looked abnormal
Not physically but her actions weren't normal for her
"Sweetie what's wrong"
You ask your daughter thinking many thing that could have gone wrong
"Mommy were you in my room yesterday"
Your daughter says almost in tears
"No, why"
You ask not knowing what to think
"Because I woke up to your shadow standing next to my bed, except you weren't there, I didn't know your shadow can move without you"
