They arrived a small clearing ahead, the trees looked real enough, and the leaves danced with the wind direction. Alice assumed enough to walk through the trees when he was stopped by a familiar hand. "This is where the Hatter resides...he's playful and curious...he'll help you on your journey." He spoke lowly, briefly moving out of the way to let the young boy pass. He walked through the border of leaves and earns to see a large house, the designs and architecture of this peculiar structure seemed impossible, yet it stood; proud and tall. There was a long table in the front of the house, a white table cloth covered it, there wasnt anyone there though, like the emptiness of it was unnerving.

The door swung open, the loud bang startling poor Alice, causing him to fall back in fear. Out walked a bright, colorful man, with thin, patchy clothes covered in cinders and dust. His bulky red jacket covered his thin slender shoulders, providing the perfect figure for this unaturally strange man. His hair red and thin, falling short to the side of his ears, yet his back was nicely shaved into a red stubbled forest. His eyes were a deep green and lavender, a beautiful mixture of color bursting and combining into one Iris. He was a spectacular sight to behold before him, and at that moment Alice felt different. She felt herself melt into peices, and fumble at her own feet.

The brightly colored man stepped out and forfulley stomped over to the table, plopping down quite forcefully in his seat. He scaned the area for a brief moment before noticing there wasn't anyone else there."TTTEEEEAAAAATTTTIIIMMMMEEEE!!!!" he screamed at the top of his lungs. The assertivness of the tone nearly blowing out Alice's ears. It was quite for a moment before a handful of creatures popped out from under the table.

A small Mouse, she wore a deviant pink dress with a light black rope tied as a sash around her waist. Her hair was a light orange, tied back into a ponytail. her face was small, yet cleverly molded. Only showing curiousity and doubt.

A rabbit, whose clothes were torn and teacup was cracked, yet he still laughed and drank, his arms and legs shaking voilently, making it hard to stay in his seat. He wore a white shirt, torn of course, and a dark blue overcoat, bushy and stained with tea. He looked over at the brightly colored man, and laughed a crooked chimmer. " hehhehehehehe~ nothing like t-teatime to pass the t-t-time hehehehe..." The rabbit spoke in a stir. His jittered in his seat like a mad man, along with the mouse and colorful man. He bounced and bubbled in his high chair, crooked sadistic laughter filled the air.

Confusion stuck to Alice's face like a virus, his focus turned back to the cat. "This is iiiiiiittttttt.." he mumbled grabbing Alice's hand and pulling him into the clearing. The crowd of peculiar folk all looked up at Alice and the cat, staring in atonishment at the pair. Until the mouse popped out of her seat and spoke. "Chesire, where'av you been? stalking around the woods I see you creep." she said with slight annoyance in her voice. He smiled and disappeared once again only to appear in the empy chair next to her. The colorful jent looked up to Alice, staring deeply into his eyes, he couldn't break away from his cold gaze. He was broken out of his trance to find the man stepping onto the tabe and walking across, footsteps shaking the old table and spilling the tea.

"It's y-you.." he said happily, grabbing Alice's delicate hands and bringing them to his chest. I-i-t's really y-you Alice...". His face came closer and took a brif whiff of Alice's hair. He backed away in confusion. What kind of a man would sniff a young lady's hair?

wait..Im not a young lady am I?

The man pointed to his jacket, which was covering his heart, Alice assumed he was pointing to his heart. "I-i Am H-h-hoseok...Thats my name! I-m a hatter cant you see? n-no one else's as bright as m-me!" he laughed that crooked laugh that made Alice cringe. yet it was still quite captivating to him.

"They call him The Mad Hatter, considering HE'S NUTTS!!" The mouse spoke frankly. The hatter stared her down before whisper something into her ear, casing her to jump back and quiver in fear. Alice felt a chill down his spine. He didn't have a good feeling about this guy.

"The Mad Hatter is what we call him, isn't that right Hoseok~?"

He looked more heated than ever, he reached over the table and took ahold of the poor cat man, his neck fimrly grasped in his hand. He began to slwoly squeeze which frightened the cat, causing him to squirm and fight to escape. "You arrogant, flying peice of shit...n-nothing in this world m-makes me more a-angry t-than listening to your a-annoying ass, so s-shut the f-fuck up......" The cat didn't move, he was limp in the hatter's thick hand. Tears streamed down his face, his face became blue and white. He dropped the cat, his limp body hitting the ground.

Alice couldn't believe what he had seen, had he just witnessed a murder? or was this all just what he thought was fromt he very beginning...

A Dream...

He didn't want to stick around the find out...

He took off running, scared for his own life, his feet were like needles. There was nothing more for Alice to think, his mind was blank and clouded with fear. The trees grew taller, and the sky grew darker. It didn't take long before Alice tripped on a root and fell flat onto his stomach and hands, his wrist scraped and cut. Poor Alice had been frightened to death, not just what was happening, but of what was to come. His body and mind had broken down, he collasped, sobbing into the rough dirt and soft grass. It felt bittersweet, the grass felt like a soft blanket, yet the soil felt like prickled fire, in a warm dark night. He couldn't stay awake for much longer, it was all too good to pass up.

A Dream within a Dream...

Doesn't that sound nice...
