With the cold biting my skin I continued to walk once more. I heard the sound again but refused to turn around only continuing to walk forward. The noise persisted almost as if begging me to turn around. I decided once more to refuse the noises pleas for me to turn around. An hour later the noise was still behind me. I couldn't take it anymore I turned around and like I suspected nothing was there. When I turned back fear shot through me for less than a foot away from me red eyes stared back, black sharp teeth, hundreds of arms, and a defening screech to match my scream.
