Only five more minutes until school is over for the year and we go on summer vacation. Well I'll be spending my whole summer in North Carolina, at Lake Norman to be specific. Me and my friend's families bought a house together right on the lake. The house is amazing, we all went to see it before we bought it and I never wanted to leave. Right when you walked in, there was the family room. With a pullout couch where my parents would be sleeping and a huge smart TV. On the other side of the room there were huge glass doors that led to a balcony and when you looked out all you saw was the lake. The kitchen was right next to the family room, and if you kept walking past the kitchen there was a bedroom that has two bunkbeds in it and it is painted a light purple and that is where me and my friends, Taya Rivest, Celia Stanton, and Alison Carder, will be sleeping. If you turn back around and walk past the kitchen and family room there is another room that used to be a dining room but we changed it into a bedroom for Ms. Carder, Ali's mom. If you walk back to the family room and go up the stairs, there are five bedrooms. The first one has two bunkbeds and is painted a pale pink, and it is where the younger girls, Anna Merrin, Maddi Merrin, Emma Messik, and Marisa Rivest, will be sleeping. The next room has two bunkbeds, is painted a dark green, and it is where the boys, Mike Merrin, Adam Messik, Alex Rivest, and Hayden Carder, will be sleeping. The other three rooms are all master bedrooms, one is for Ms. Stanton, one is for Mr. and Mrs. Rivest, and the last one is for Mr. and Mrs. Messik. If you walk back downstairs and go down another set of stairs to the basement it basically just has a computer, a TV, some movies, a bookshelf with a few books and XBOX games. So let's just say I'll have a pretty fun summer.
