Phycotic (Beau Brooks Fanfic)

Chapter one

*Maggies pov*

I was awoken to the constant sounds coming from my horrid alarm clock. 5:00am is was too early to be getting up I think to myself while sighing. Today I had to get to work by 6:00am because I have a new patient.

I am nervous yet excited for my new patient. I've only ever had to look after 3 people while my working experience but they had to be moved to a different institution.

I finally got out of the comfort of my warm bed and stumbled into my bathroom. I live in a fairly large house by myself because when my parents died over 11 years ago they left it for me. They were in a terrible car accident while going away for a holiday.

When I got to the bathroom I stripped off my singlet and shorts that I wore to bed and steeped into the now steamy shower. I picked up the shampoo and massaged it into my scalp and washed body wash onto my body.

I stepped out of the shower and got a fresh towl off the towel rack and wrapped it around my body. I went over to the basin and got my toothbrush and toothpaste and brushed my teeth. I then strolled out of my bathroom and into my bedroom to get my uniform. I hated my uniform it was a mid length grey dress thingy with these ugly shoes.

I walked back into my bathroom and slipped into my uniform. I applied a thin layer of foundation, mascara, eyeliner and a little bit of nude colour lip gloss.

I went into my room and checked if I had any messages or notifications. I had 2 messages and a few new followers on Twitter and Instagram. The messages were from my best friend Sophia

Sophia💘: Hey Maggs! Just wondering if you wanted to come over later on? Xx

Me: Yeah sure Soph! I'll come around yours at around 9:00pm because I have to stay longer at work. Xx

The missed call was from my other friend Jake. I've known Jake since I was little. He's like family to me. I decided to call him back later because I'd doubt he'd pick up at 5:30am. So I decided to stroll on down to the kitchen and make some breakfast. I put in a slice of toast and made myself a coffee.

After gobbling down my meal I decided to go tidy my room before I got work since it was only 5:39am. I walked up the stairs into my creamy white coloured room and made my queen sized bed. I checked the time and I read 5:45am. Work starts at 6 so I have 15 minutes to get there.

I walked down stairs and got my coat off the hook and and grabbed my car keys. I made my way out into the cold and to my black sports car. I started up the engine and put the heater on.

I reversed out of the drive way and drove down the road. To the institution it was only a 5 minute drive which was lucky. I then made my way up the long drive way to the huge beigey grey coiled building I called work.
