"-wait, so you kidnapped someone?" The woman Therapist asked as I attempted to tell her more of the madness I endured just a month ago. "Yes, I kidnapped a Scientist to help me get stronger, but we ended up becoming friends and together we healed a bunch of sick Orphans forced into this fucked up Camp," Dr. Morrow paused me once more, "-and that Camp is allegedly The Steele Reserve, yes?" I rolled my eyes and spoke with annoyance, "no, not allegedly. Literally. Cyrus Steele was trying to turn little kids into Super Soldiers, or some shit. I was there," she crossed her legs and finally grabbed her clipboard to take notes after 30-minutes of backtracking and exposition, "who else was there, Ryan?" I began to list off the names of my crew, "at first it was just me, then I met Kennedy Flores and she became my right-hand man. She helped evacuate her neighborhood during those fires in California," she wrote down every word I said, and then asked for more names, "actually, I lied. It was just me there," she tightened her grip on the pen and lifted her green eyes to me, "excuse me?" I put my hands behind my back and rested my feet on the sofa, "you heard me, I did everything all by myself. I killed Cyrus Steele, I killed Shax, I attempted to kill Camden James that day of the Veterans Day Parade, but I missed," she wasn't buying my confession fully. She poured me a glass of water and slid it across the coffee table, I took a sip to quinch my dry throat. "Let's talk about your friends Edward Pulse, Nena Suavè, and Syn Chevyo," my hand shook and swished the water in the glass, she noticed the antics and wrote in her clipboard, "w-we aren't friends. Never were." She gave me an unconvinced smile, "no? It says here in my files that you all went to Sactowne High together. The four of you even served a week of Detention together, are you telling me no relationship developed in that amount of time?" My heart was racing uncontrollably and it wasn't because I was freaking the hell out. Realization slowly crept upon me; this entire time she hadn't taken a sip of the water she fed me. My vision began to blur and my mouth went numb. She stood from her office chair and showed me her hidden lightning-bolt tattoo on her wrist, another Flash-Mob member. Before I passed out I uttered my last words to her, "you bitch," she pushed me on my back and whispered in my ear as she held a small knife to my gut, "I bet you wish you had your friends around. What happened to your little whore girlfriend? What was her name again? I want hear you say it, Ryan. I want her name to bring you pain. I want you to always remember how you weak and useless you were to save her against Kamalu." If I had just the tiniest bit of energy left I would've tapped into my Rage and pulled her throat out, but I couldn't. Instead I blacked out from the drugs she put in my water.
"Ryan?" I faintly heard someone call my name, it was probably Satan reading my name from rollcall, "Ryan, wake up you stubborn ass!" A pair of fingers forced my eyelids open, my vision was still blurry but I could see it was Ed and Nena in their robotic Wolf-suits, "how did you two find me?" I asked after noticing the crazy woman was knocked-out and in restraints, "you're apart of our Pact, we can feel your vitals from States away," Nena explained as she detached her wolf head, "-there's something we need you to see, Ryan." I could tell by Ed's tone it had something to do with Devya. My dead girlfriend
