Chapter 4: A Search For A Cure And More Friendly Faces.

This has been the journey so far...

And so the Grim Reaper joins the three and ventures through the forest, in search for a cure to free the father of young Yugo. The boy's powers will soon be put to the test.

Ruel: Bounty hunter? Ha! It's no good!

Old man Ruel starts off his stories and shares them with Percedel in the Forbidden Forest while you were behind and a round bird named Az was sitting on your shoulder. You soon realized that Az is Yugo's little friend... Speaking of Yugo...

(y/n)'s Mind: Where's that boy? He didn't get lost now, did he?

You look up ahead to only see both Ruel and Percedel, you looked towards your left... No Yugo... To your right... No yogurt... I mean yoga... I mean Yugo, however you see Az on your shoulder, looking behind you as you looked over to see Yugo just... Standing there, concentrated.

(y/n): Hmm?

The palm of Yugo's hand glows a blue color as he waved in a circular motion... You were confused by what he's trying to do... But... He vanished in a blink of an eye, no portals are seen at all as you and Az blinked your eyes.

(y/n): Wha...?

You stopped walking as you stood there in complete confusion... Are you just seeing things?

(y/n): Was... That an illusion?

You suddenly hear snickering from behind as you turned around to see Yugo as he laughs and runs off as if your going to chase him... However you didn't as you turned around to see Yugo's portal just closed in front of you as you and Az looked at each other and you gave off a slightly annoyed look.

(y/n): Ok... So I've been fooled... Bloody hell.

You shook your head and followed Ruel and Percedel that are still talking to one another... However the two stopped as Percedel looked around.

Percedel: This forest is gigantic. One month was not enough for me to go through it.

You stood in between the two as Percedel pulls out a map.

Percedel: I even started drawing a map so I wouldn't get lost.

You then looked at his map and well... Only see a drawing of the forest as Ruel asked.

Ruel: So we're here, right?

Percedel: I don't know. It's not very accurate, but it's cute.

(y/n): Great... Knight of the Order is an artist... I should of brought Dust with me to search the way.

You said with a sigh as a small portal was opened above you as a hand reaches and pats your head.

(y/n): Eh?

You look up... Only to see tree branches and leaves... Another portal was opened as the hand pats your right shoulder.

(y/n): Who the...

You look towards the side... Nothing as the portal opens once again and a hand pokes your cheek as you quickly turn turned your head with angry eyes.

(y/n): WHO THE HELL IS DOING-

You heard gigging once more as you very... Slowly... Turned your head... To see Yugo trying his very best to hide his laughter behind a tree as your eyes twitches.

Percedel: You alright, (y/n)?

(y/n): huh? Uh... Yea... I'm fine.

You said as Yugo walked up and stood next to you, Ruel then asked.

Ruel: Say Yugo, can you use your magic to get to the top of these trees and tell us where to go?

Yugo: I'm already there!

Yugo then uses his portal magic and disappears, you were quite impressive that he's a fast learner.

(y/n): Well now, guess we'll have to wait.

[Timeskip with Yugo jumping into a portal in front of (y/n) as he appeared on his shoulder, surprising (y/n) as Yugo laughs.]

After Yugo had his eyes from up above, he spotted a very large tree up ahead as you four of you started walking towards that direction as Ruel spoke.

Ruel: As a reminder, it's call the "forbidden forest" for a reason. It's the most dangerous in Amakna.

(y/n): Well then I can't wait to start blasting heads!

You said as you pulled out your small gun called "Mauler" as Percedel was starring at it with awe.

Ruel: But it's best if we stay away from trouble. And most importantly we need to stay together!

(y/n): *Sigh* fine... I was really hoping for-

???: Help!

You heard a girls screaming for help as Percedel had one hell of a smile.

Percedel: A damsel in distress! Awesome!

(y/n): IT'S KILLING TIME!

You and Percedel immediately rushed towards the screaming is as Ruel just sighed.

Ruel: So mush for "staying together"...

Yugo: Right! We should go help them!

And Yugo then runs to catch up as Ruel just looks at Az who is flying next to him.

Ruel: Hotheads! Those three are just hotheads!

While you and Percedel ran to the rescue, Percedel leaped out of the bushes and saw those small critters from before and started cutting them down as you leaped out and pulled out your Sword of Aeon and did the same.

(y/n): Die you annoying creatures!

You and Percedel were easily killing off these tiny monsters as Yugo and Ruel to see that the two of you have cleaned up the area as Percedel tried to... Dance?

(y/n): Ok... What the hell are you... Nevermind, do whatever makes you happy.

You said and looked around and spotted those two hooded girls from before, one of them was in a tree while the other was on one of those creatures they were riding on as a single critters was still alive as it scared the animal as the girl falls off.

(y/n): Great...

You immediately rushed to catch her, but you didn't realize that Percedel was too but your strength was too much and accidentally pushed him away.

(y/n): Oh... My apologies.

And the girl lands on your arms as her hood came off, showing her blonde hair as you just stood there with a calm look.

(y/n): Alright... Looks like we have new friends to make... I want no part of this.

Then everything fades to black...

Percedel: Ow...

Then the title "Wakfu" appeared as the title is untouched and a faint laughter was heard.
