Second POV:
"What's going on between you two?"
"You saw the picture didn't you?"
"(Y/N), please just tell me..."
"Don't worry, nothing major is going on. Rest assured and go back to being busy."
You hang up the phone, and you could feel tears barely just holding on before falling. Your classmates are close by, and you didn't want to cry in front of them.
"(Y/N)? Everything ok?"
"Jason! Ya, ya don't worry. I'm just tired, so I'm going to go home."
"Sure, if you need anything you know my number."
The last thing you wanted is to get Jason involved. More than he already is... Even if he doesn't know about it...
The next day was the best! You couldn't wait to finish classes to go home and enjoy your weekend, alone this time.
You and Jason walked out of class together, and he wanted to escort you to the gate at least. He isn't convinced that you are feeling ok after he saw a tear escape down your face.
"So how about it? Think you can come out this weekend a bit, at least for coffee?"
"I don't know Jason; I just don't feel that up to waaah!!"
Suddenly you were pulled by your arm away from Jason and bumped into someone tall and bulky!
"She's busy."
"Who are you to answer for her?"
"Iwaizumi!? What are you doing here?"
"We need to talk, let's go."
"Hey man! You can't just grab her and go!" Jason grabs your other arm and pulls you towards him, but Iwaizumi still has his hold on you, not letting it go. The worse situation to be in right about now... Stuck in the middle between two guys!
"Wait, Jason..."
"I will ask you kindly once to let go of her..."
"And I already told you to let her go!"
Both of them are pulling from each side! You feel your hands are going to rip apart from your shoulders... Iwaizumi is strong, so his pull is strong! But Jason is no different! It's killing you!
"Guys!!"
"Anyway, what gives you the right to just grab her and drag her away!?"
"I'm her boyfriend! Now let go! Before I make you!"
"Iwaizumi! No need for threats!"
"(Y/N)... Is it true?"
"Yes it is, now let go!"
"I'm asking her!"
"Aaaah! Shut up both of you!" You pull both your hands inwards, getting both your hands free and pulling the boys inwards a bit from the pull. You are getting a headache from their bickering, and it is leading you nowhere!
"Jason, it's fine. Yes, he is my boyfriend... Things are a bit complicated between us right now..."
"No, they aren't. We are fine!"
"Shush Hajime! Your turn is coming!"
"So I'll just go with him today and just text you later ok."
"Fine, but if you need anything..."
"She's fine, thanks for your concern!" Iwaizumi grabs your arm again and drags you away. You fight off a bit, but give up when he just won't budge, and you let him pull you to wherever he is taking you.
You arrive at the park where you used to go to back when you were in high school. The same park where you met him and confessed to him. The place where your relationship started.
"What are we doing here Iwaizumi?"
"You tell people you're single now?"
"Seriously?..."
"Ya seriously! That guy seemed to think so anyway!"
"Is that what's important to you now?! That guy? Isn't the situation between us more important?" The way Iwaizumi was acting was starting to hurt you and anger you! He doesn't feel like the same person you met in that cafe... The person who cared so much, he even worried about your dress.
"He became a part of us when he held you the night you were out partying!"
"HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!" You scream out and walk a few steps ahead trying to calm yourself down.
"(Y/N)..."
"Don't! When was the last time you asked me how I was? Or how I'm doing? How I'm finding my classes? Anything Iwaizumi! When was the last time you spoke to me?" Your thoughts and feelings are just pouring out at the moment!
"I... Don't remember..." He looks down, with an ashamed face.
"Exactly... We used to talk every day, about anything and everything... What happened? You got to Tokyo and your new life there you forgot all about the people here... About me..."
"No! That's not true! I never forgot about you! Not even for a second!"
"Then why didn't you call me? Busy? With what? Practice? Don't you get a break? Or what it someone?"
"(Y/N)... I swear! There is no one else... It's just things are different in Tokyo... The practice is different; the training is different! I felt overwhelmed... I didn't know how to deal with the pressure... And you..."
"I was adding to that pressure...?"
"No! That's not what I meant! Every time you called, you asked me how I was doing and how practice was... I didn't want to tell you all negative stuff, and I didn't want to lie either..."
"That's still no excuse to ignore my calls and not call me... I would have understood if you just told me."
"I know... I'm sorry. When I saw the picture... The fact that I'm losing you struck me... I didn't care about volleyball anymore, or my pride or anything in the world... I just cared about you... I wanted you in my arms and to hear your voice..." He walks closer to you and holds your hands tightly bringing them to his forehead. "Please (Y/N)... I promise things will be different! They will be like they were! Even better! Just... Just don't walk away from the best thing I have in my life..."
You felt a tear land on your hand, which could only come from one place... Iwaizumi was so hurt about all this; he was crying at the thought of losing you...
"You promise? You mean all this and you will work on it? I don't want to feel that pain in my chest at the sound of your name anymore..."
"I swear! I promise! I'll be the best thing in your life!"
"Baka..." You pull your hands away and grab his face wiping the fallen tears with your thumb. "You already are... You just went through a stupid phase!"
"I'll never be stupid again!"
"Haha! Sure... I prefer my Hajime smart anyway." You land a small kiss on his cheek and hug him. Glad that the person you fell in love with... Is back.
"I love you (Y/N)! With all my heart!" He grabs you from your waist, pulling you closer and landing a hot... smooth... deep kiss. You haven't felt his lips and his sweet kisses since he left for Tokyo... For a slight moment, you lost strength in your legs...
"I love you too Hajime..."
