Falling During Filming

Chapter 56

Skylar's POV

I take a deep breath when Jeff grabs our suitcases I go down the hall to the nursery to check on Bella she was sleeping I lean down then kiss her head I was nervous about leaving her it would be mine and Jeff's first night away from her since she was born. I rub her back then turn around when I hear footsteps Jeff smiles then walks over and wraps his arms around my waist he kisses my head "I'm going to miss her too but we aren't abandoning our little girl we will only be gone for a few days then come back home." I knew he was right but that didn't make things any easier. I kiss her cheeks then follow Jeff out of the house out to his truck he starts it then we start the drive to the airport hopefully I could enjoy this trip and handle being away for just a few days or I would be in trouble once filming started again.

Jeff's POV

I reach over and squeeze Skylar's hand during our flight she looks at me then lays her head on my shoulder I kiss the top of her head "Bella will be just fine my mom will take good care of her, plus you know the dogs won't let anything happen to her." She nods then looks up at me I lean in then kiss her slowly she kisses back cupping my face I brush my tongue over her bottom lip she moans then deepens the kiss I grin and start kissing down her neck I knew she needed this more than I did. I move my hand up from her side to her breast then squeeze gently she moans then tries to move close but the seat belt stops her we hadn't done anything for almost two months I didn't want to dive right into it I wanted to build up before we got back to it. She would be close to begging by the time we finally made it to after the special.

Skylar's POV

We get to LA and start walking through the airport after we get our bags I keep my head down and follow Jeff while we walk outside to the car but a group of fans gather around us. "Jeff, Skylar can you tell us anything about the new season?" I almost sigh in relief they still didn't know I had been pregnant or that Jeff and I had Bella we all managed to keep it a secret I squeeze his hand while we keep walking and answer their question. "It's a whirl wind lots of exciting things happen but you know we can't say too much or give things away." We sign a few things then we finally get outside and get in the car to go to the hotel I lean my had back against the seat and relax. Jeff rubs my leg and I try to relax then I look over at him he smiles "don't let them ruin our time together okay?" He was right this was for the premiere, the Talking Dead Special and our alone time.

Jeff's POV

Skylar and I get to our room she hangs up her dress then takes off her shoes I take off my boots then walk over and lay on the bed I grab her hand and pull her down on top of me she giggles then kisses my jaw. I close my eyes then wrap my arms around her and start rubbing her back I loved being a part of the show since I was a fan of the comics, plus I loved acting but I had Skylar and together we had Bella who was only six weeks old and we were already away from her. I wanted the two of us to be able to live comfortably and have enough to send Bella and any other children we might have to a good college but sometimes I was ready to quit to have a life with my family. I kiss Skylar's cheek and she starts rubbing my arm I relax feeling content moments like this made having this job worth it.
