When was the last time you asked yourself, "Why did I do that? Why am I so useless?"
It was my fault...
Before coming to Virtue High, two years ago, I was from Integrity and was one of those kids that annoys people. Most of the time. Some of them thought I was childish. I wouldn't blame them considering my bad attitude. As I foretell the story, I try to be as level-headed as possible.
I was a blonde-haired, below shoulder level, school girl. Since I didn't like ponytails, I swirl up the remaining hair to make a somewhat huge ball. If I'm being extra, I would make the sides tied in braids. So can you imagine how I look? No? How about this? I have silver eyes! Ah~ Still nothing? Aw man...
Anyway, it was a school morning. I was leisurely walking my way to school, nothing to care about, attending classes in time, paying attention to the teachers while they were teaching. Something I would do if I wasn't late. Remember all those complicated get-ups? Yeah, I skipped those.
Nearly at the school gate entrance, still running for my life, and then RIIIIINNNGG!!!! My heart pumped, feeling the adrenaline rush, I sprinted forward. With my skirt glided through the air nearly showing my undies but that wasn't my concern that time.
Despite my efforts, the school had closed its gate. It was automatic. Gasping for air, I looked around to see I was the only one there.
This is troubling...
I poked my head inside to see nobody was there. The gate fence had no spikes on top so I had thought an idea. I adjusted my skirt and preparing myself to propel myself over. Just when I was about to do so, two of my close friends caught me.
"Are you serious? This is the fourth time this week."
Yep, a close friend. The person with the dreadlock screaming at me was Bruce. First impression, dead strict. To me at least. He was taking the role of a school prefect too seriously. Especially when dealing with me during a time of crisis. Weren't I something...
"You should stop doing this so often Licia."
The beautiful prefect besides him with dark short silky hair was Jun. Unlike Bruce, she showed care and concern in her tone even when treating people like me.
"I'm sorry guys. I forgot to set my alarm clock. Please let me in. I'm sweating over here." I made gestured my hand to fan myself.
"If we let you in, you promise to not do it again?" Jun looked at me in the eyes.
I nodded.
Jun signaled the guard to open the gate small enough for me to squeeze in. I hugged Jun in relief despite me sweating but she didn't mind much. Bruce walked away, didn't say a word.

Woohoo! Recess time! Aside from Bruce and Jun, I hang out with my other two close friends, who were also my classmates; Larry and Candy.
Larry was a huge nerd. Kidding~ Not that huge but still a glasses-wearing nerd who knew his way to solve problems. I always go to him whenever I have problems with my studies but sometimes when he started explaining all the details I just ignore him. His silver hair slicked back with a strong hair gel, which reflected light when shining on it.
As for Candy, her actual name was Cindy but she preferred Candy. Why? Because she had a butt-load of supply of candies in her bag. I wasn't sure why but I had already like her. Out of all of us, she was the most bright. I didn't mean intellectually, also not saying that she was dumb, but her striking appearance. She tied her pink hair twin pony-tail style, her uniform was looking kind of loose in my eyes as opposed to Larry keeping his uniform neat and tucked in.
