Chapter 43

 Harry was giving Faith her bedtime bottle when his phone chimed.

 I'm coming to pick up Faith tomorrow. Marian needs to see her daughter.

He sighed heavily as he read the text from his mother in law.   But not me, right? 

Harry I know this is hard, but I think if she sees Faith, more things will start coming back to her. Please be patient. I'll call you when I'm coming. 

See you tomorrow, Rose. 

He looked down at his beautiful princess who was looking up at him and smiling. He couldn't help but smile back. "One day at a time." He said gently.

Kaia jumped when her phone went off. They had gotten home from dinner with Destiny who had relished in having her parents to herself for one night.  She couldn't help but smile when she saw the pictures that Rosalie had sent of Marian and Ahmir.  She told her that everything was going alright and not to worry.

The next afternoon, they loaded up Karim and Destiny into the car and headed over to the Swan's house.

"I hope the night went okay," she said to Zayn as they drove.

 "We didn't receive any help me calls or I don't know what to do calls, so that's a good sign," Zayn said.

 "Yes," Kaia said.

"Why does Ahmir get Auntie all to himself all the time?" Destiny pouted.

Kaia shook her head and smirked. "Princess, we've talked about this."

She glanced at her husband who was smirking himself.

Ahmir woke up curled up next to his T. He'd had so much fun but he could tell how tired she was.  They had breakfast and watched some more movies.

They pulled in the driveway and Kaia got Karim out of his car seat and Zayn helped Destiny.

"Papa come on!" She said grabbing his hand.

 "I'm right here," Zayn smiled down at her daughter. "Let's go see Auntie."  He knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

Rosalie finished cleaning the breakfast dishes and was about to join Marian and Ahmir in the living room when she heard the doorbell ring.

"Hello," she said opening the door. "The whole gang today."

 "Where's Auntie?" Destiny asked.

Kaia held Karim close. "Destiny, don't be rude."

 "Your Auntie is in the living room with your brother. You can go see her, but be careful she just got out of the hospital," Rosalie told the little girl.

 Destiny let go of her papa's hand and took off.  "Auntie!"

Kaia looked at Rosalie. "Everything went alright?"

 "Yes, Ahmir was a perfect angel. We could see how much he loves and cares for our daughter. They truly have a special bond," Rosalie told them.  "I do think she was trying to keep up with him. Doing too much, but she didn't want to let him down," she added.  "Jeremy will be here all day if you need anything. That man is a workaholic. I'm going to go get Faith.  It's time for her to see her daughter."

 Kaia nodded. "She always does everything for him," she said. "I think it's time for her to see her daughter too. It might help with her memories."
