"That was awesome, wasn't it!?" Lance said to the child. They jumped up and down clapping in excitement after watching what Lance and Keith did to defeat the lizard. They went up to the lizard to kick its head and yelled bad as he pointed his finger at it. Keith and lance chuckled at the small kid's silliness. Lance felt the shooting pain in his shoulder as he moved it while laughing, "ugh" he winced and bent down in pain.

"Lance!" Keith yelled worried, he crouched down and put his hand on Lance's back.

"I'm fine Keith," he softly said, he wasn't. The kid came up to lance to give a very worried look. "I'm alright buddy, it's just a little soreness." He spoke in a calm voice that still had pain in it, he patted the head of the kid with his left arm. The child started to reach his hand out, it started to give a faint glow of blue, Keith and Lance's eyes widen but then the cave started to rumble. 

"We need to leave now!" Lance shouted and got up quickly. Keith grabbed the child and held him with his left arm leaving his sword on his right, lance trips over a rock and collapses on his injured arm, Lance groaned in pain.

"Lance!" Keith shouts his concern at an injured lance. 

"I'm alright," he grunts "just keep going." Keith has no second thought at helping Lance get back up. "What are you doing!"

"Helping!" Keith puts his bayard away and holds the alien child on his right while he picks up Lance and puts his uninjured arm around his neck and uses his left hand to hold lance up at the hip to keep him from falling again

Shiro, Hunk, and Pidge return to the Castle on Shiro's lion, with the fallen piolet. Allura came up to meet them at the hanger, Allura and Coran gasped as they saw Shiro and the other paladins return with a covered body. "It seemed he was too injured to continue but he gave me something and asked for us to complete his mission and bring his son home." 

"I see, but where is this son of his and Keith and Lance haven't returned." worried Allura. 

 "I contacted Keith but it seems he may have lost signal," Shiro said to Allura. 

"I see we should be able to communicate to them from here, even if they are halfway to the planet's core." A beeping sound sounded off in pidge's bag, she shuffled to the bottom of the bag to grab the orange alien tech, her eyes widened and gave a panicked face look. 

"Well, we need to contact them now because the planet is now giving greater tremors and will give in and starting to crumble now." She shouted then a large tremor was felt throughout the castle.

"Alright every one head to the castles controls!" shouted Allura.

"but what about Lance and Keith?" Hunk asked. 

" We will contact them, when at the controls of the ship." Allura spoke

Keith could now feel a strong breeze come through the tunnel, "We are almost out!" soon a transmission came into lance and Keith's piolet suits. Lance answered.

"Guys we are on our way out of the tunnel and we have the other passenger here 

"But lance here is a little injured so get a healing pod ready," Keith asked. Lance blushed at Keiths worry, the child saw lance's embarrassment. they soon saw the end of the tunnel as well as the ed lion waiting for them.

"Yes! Red is here." Keith said excitedly. The child looked at the gigantic and shiny red lion in awe. Lance saw the kid and his excitement. I reminded him of when he saw the spaceships back at home. Red got down to allow their piolet and passengers in and to safety, But as soon as they stepped in the lion's mouth the cracks became great craters and the planet was finally breaking. 

Keith got into the cockpit and set lance down to sit. "make sure you don't fall." Keith smirked. 

"With your flying, I give no promises." Joked Lance, Keith smiled and quickly got into his seat to fly them all to safety. He launched just in time before one of the gigantic craters of the planet sucked them in.
