It is really the nature of a person to share to others what they feel, what they think, what they are doing, everything! Well, I guess this is one of coping and defense mechanisms utilized by us.
Yes, it is beneficial to share what we think, to express what we feel, to do what we want. But have you ever think of its cons?
I do believe that anxiety is highly contagious, it is airborne!
Have you ever experienced that a friend of yours was sharing that he/she's anxious and nervous then all of a sudden, your heartbeat jumped in a hurry also?
Yes, I also experienced it. That's why, whenever I'm anxious or not feeling well, I'm just concealing it and not letting others know about it. Not because I don't want to share it or others to think I'm weak but simply because I don't want to transfer to them the unbearable feeling I'm experiencing.
Concealing things doesn't mean you are being secretive, rather it is one way of protecting others. :)
