I don't think that our sugary drinks should have a tax on them. Americans have free will and even if they are taxed, that wouldn't stop people from drinking things like soda. Plus, there are more urgent matters that should be addressed before this. Alcohol, for example. We don't do much about drinking alcohol even though the consequences have been horrible. Alcohol is a spawn of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse. It can cause people to do dumb and dangerous things. We haven't done much to stop people from drinking it, yet we're focused on SUGARY DRINKS?
