Damn it! I fucked up now. Good job Jess. I looked down at the soiled paint. The once beautiful baby blue was now an ugly vomit green. All I did was tip the brown bucket a bit to get more paint! But of course, I accidently dropped it into the whole blue bucket and all over the floor. I'm definitely getting fired now.
My co-worker John looked over at me ad chuckled lightly. I gave him a nasty look, which only made him laugh even more. I guess I better go get this train wreck over with.
I walked into the other room of our clients house where my boss was, and slowly walked up to him. He turned away from whomever he was talking to. I could tell he knew something was wrong by reading my expression. Here we go.. Just breath Jess. It's not like he is going to light you on fire or something. Oh wait. I'm getting fired.
I gave my boss a shy look. He obviously seemed busy so I decided to just get it over with.
"Excuse me, Sir. I kinda of.. make a large mistake." His eyes lit up as I said that. He asked me what it was, so I prepared myself for the blow. "I sort of knocked over an entire bucket of paint into another bucket of paint and spilled it all over the wooden floor.." Shit, he's pissed.
"Jessica, are you kidding me? This has to be some April fools joke. Couldn't you wait three days to pull a joke like this?" he wasn't having it.. This is going to be terrible.
"No, sir. I really did spill the paint. It's everywhere. I'm incredibly sorry, it was just an accident, I was just trying-" he cut me off.
"Get the hell out of here Jessica." he pointed to the door. "But Mr. Warring, please!" I tried to change his mind, but he definitely was set on his decision. I decided to just deal with it and leave.
I walked out to the spring air. Damn! That was my last solution. I screwed up everything else! I have gotten fired from at least 10 jobs. Every other place around town hires 18 and older. Only a few more months until I'm 18.. I've only managed to save $153, how the hell am I going to save up $650 to pay Chris back in time? I can't imagine what would happen if I didn't get his money back by August.. I haven't heard good stories. I'm so fucked.
I have no where else to go.
I should never have broken Chris's stupid ring. I don't even know why it was so important, anyway. It looked like something you'd dig out of a garbage dump!
Man, I really need a break right now. I think I'll just pull one of my old fashioned ice cream and movie nights. I'll just walk t the super market down a few blocks.
I walked into the supermarket and headed for the frozen section. I grabbed my favorite Brownie Blast container, and headed to the registers so I could get home quickly, considering I'm walking home.
The only register open was the express one, so I headed for it and put the ice cream on the counter and started grabbing the money without even looking at the cashier.
"Jessica?"
I looked up, confused as to how the guy new my name. I didn't know anyone I knew worked here..
I noticed the guys features and thought for a bit. I didn't recognize him that well. Then it hit me. My old neighbor, Isaiah!
"Holy shit! Isaiah it's been forever! How you been?" We began casual catch-up talk. he asked me how my new house was and how school was going. He graduated two years before. Him asking about my day made me wonder if I should mention how crappy it was.
"My day was pretty messed up. But what can you do, you know?" I gave him a smug smile as I said that. I didn't want to make it seem like I wanted to complain about it. He gave me a knowing look, which meant to spill it.
"Well, let's just say I screwed up my last available job and now I have no money income. So I'm fucked." He seemed a little taken a back by my little story, but recovered and seemed to have an idea.
"You need money, and a job?" he asked. "I guess I do now." I told him. Didn't I just say I lost my fucking job? Of course I need a new one.
"I can help you." he said. Woah.. what? I thought they only hired 18 and older here? "And I don't mean working here." as if reading my thoughts. I guess I'll see what he has to say. "What kind of job?" I asked.
"Well, it's not exactly the kind of job you can just go telling everyone about, or be proud of. But let me tell you, money will come in faster than you can snap to your butler." That was interesting.. I need money quick, maybe this could work.
I wasn't just going to jump in and take the job though. What if it's like, cleaning horse shit or something? "What is it?" I asked him.
He seemed kind of hesitant to tell me. "Well, it would be easier to have you talk to the guy you'd be working for. Meet me back here at 9 o'clock tonight."
"Alright, I will. Bye Isaiah, thanks again!"
This should be interesting.

So there's the first chapter. Yes, some parts of Jessica's back story are missing, but you'll find out the details during the story. And yes there will be loads of cursing, so if you don't like it then go read another story cause idgaf. Don't comment on my grammar either, I'm trying my best and I had a C in english. Anyway, hope you enjoyed it. I promise the next chapter will be better and more interesting, and hopefully longer.
