Mischief Unmanageable

Chapter Nine: An Epic Game of Wizard Tag

"Okay, that's it!" yelled Ari as she jumped off of the couch and began running to the boys dormitory.

"ARI?" yelled a worried Sirius who along with Peter and James ran after her.

It had been two days since the incident which had left Marlin bed ridden. Marlin was awake now. Remus who had flipped after what had happened hadn't even gone to see her because of... guilt? To be honest Ari didn't really know. She didn't care either. She knew that he loved her and that Marlin loved him in return. So, of course being the wonderful friend she is, she wasn't going to let him sulk and blame himself for everything. She wasn't going to let him act like a self righteous edgy love sick boy. She had had enough with all this soap opera level drama. So that is why she was in the boys dormitory.

She busted into the boys dormitory, kicking the door open. She scared Remus so badly he fell off of his bed and landed on the floor.

"REMUS LETTUCE  LUPIN! I demand you to listen to what I have to say!" yelled Ari as she pulled Remus off of the floor by his tie, pointing her want at his throat.

Remus gulped and starred at Ari's wand in fear and surprise. 

"Lettuce?" he asked.

"That's not even my middle name!" 

"WELL IT IS NOW!" Ari yelled back.

Remus was taken aback by Ari's inner rage, he never new that she could be this  scary.

"Okay, okay." said Remus holding his arms up in surrender.

Ari loosed her grip on his tie but didn't remove her wand from his neck.

"Okay, so you are going to stop sulking you edgy Lettuce Wolf." she said taking a breath to begin her long rant.

"You need to begin talking to your friends again because they DID NOT TELL ME YOU WERE A WEREWOLF! I figured it out a long  time ago!"

Remus's eyes widened when she said that.

"You... WHAT??!!" he asked.

"Ya, duh! I'm not in Ravenclaw but I'm not an idiot for Merlin's sake!" fired back Ari.

"Anyway... where was I?" Ari asked herself.

"Oh, werewolf thing! Like I was saying, I already well... suspected and I new when your friends ran off looking for you. So do not blame them! Also you need to grow up and go visit Marlin! Because you love her and she loves you. And your going to be a real man and go talk to her!" 

Ari glared at Remus.

While she was ranting, Sirius, James and Peter (I forgot he even existed to be honest, the boy just blends in like a chameleon!). They stood awe struck in the doorway of the damaged door which because of Ari's marvelous entrance was hanging off of it's hinges.

  Remus managed a weak and scared nod. Ari finally put down her wand and let go of his tie, resulting in Remus falling onto the floor. Ari walked past the boys in the doorway and shouted on her way out.

"You boys hurry up and kiss and make up! We're visiting Marlin after this!"

The boys then shook their head in disbelief in her direction. Remus got up from the floor, dusting himself off.

The boys looked at each other, Remus spoke first.

"Ari was right..." (damn right she was)

"I shouldn't be blaming you guys, your my best mates. It's just that the thought of hurting her kills me, it's killing me right now."
