Once upon a time, there was a place that didn't exist. As impossible as it sounded, this reality stood outside the realm of existence, and, because of that, it was barren. Its landscape was a flat surface, indescribable in color and texture. It would change for each for each person who had access to this space.
Now, the scene glitched, before turning dark. The sky started to swirl with different colors. A person flickered into existence, suspended about a foot above the ground before falling. Large white wings arched out behind her as her golden eyes looked around. She stood up and brushed off her clothes, before studying her appearance.
She was dressed in a white tank top and black sweatpants, without any shoes. She ran her hands through her short hair, before bringing a strand in front of her eyes. Brown.
"That's great and all," She announced to no one, "But I can do better."
Drawing on her connection to the universe, her body glowed briefly as her form changed.
When the light cleared, she summoned a mirror to study her reflection. Her hair was slightly longer, darker, and much for messy. Her eyes had changed into a multicolored swirl, matching the sky of the "Void", as she called her space. A light dusting of freckles traveled down her nose and covered her cheeks. As the mirror disappeared, she glanced around again, placing her hand on her chin.
"What to do, what to do..." she asked herself in a sing-song voice. Coming up with an idea, she held her hand out in front of her and swiped to the left.
In front of her was a non-descript bar, its features, much like the rest of the universe, were indescribable. Her outfit changed to a white buttoned-down, a black vest, black skinny jeans, and high tops. As she moved to open the door, she grinned to herself.
"Let's get this party started."
