I woke up in a bed covered in sweat. I heard voices and shakily got out of the bed and walked over to the door.

I could barely make out the voices but I was pretty sure it was Drake and Lucious.

"Did it not work on her," Drake asked.

"No it did once, though, she was sitting in sunlight, she can run through the sun like a human." Lucious replied quieter.

Like a human I am a human, what the hack are they if they think I'm not.

"Maybe it's because the transformation is incomplete," Drake asked.

"No I couldn't do that and you couldn't either it has something to do with her," he got so quiet I had to lean in and the door gave the littlest squeak.

I knew they heard it so I jumped over the bed and hid under it. I had just gotten under the bed when the door opened. Drake and Lucious walked in and the both went immediately to the back of the room. I took the chance to run for it and waited outside the door for a quick second I heard running so I picked up the chair and hit whoever came to the door first and combined with their speed I bet it hurt.

I ran down half the stairs and jumped over the railing down to ground level. I was almost to the door when someone grabbed me around my waist. I was thrown over someone's shoulder again and I yelled, "put me down."

"Calm down Simone"Lucious was clearly having trouble carrying me so he sped upstairs, "Drake are you okay?"

"How do you know my name," I asked. "Yeah, I'm fine I'll heal by morning," Drake replied. By morning I thought no a blow like that would have knocked someone out.

Lucious put me down on the bed I woke up in, I noticed I was wearing shorts a shirt and no socks or shoes.

I sat there clearly not going to get away so I calmed a little bit, not so much that if there was a chance I could get out I was gonna take it.

When Drake got up he had a cut across his head and it was bleeding I didn't know how but it was like I could smell his blood, I ignored the thought and heard a faint voice in my head.

"C'mon show then your powers."

"What powers I don't have any," I said.

"Yes you do," I noticed the voice was my grandmothers, "heal his cut you know how to."

"I don't see a first aid kit around here," I said looking around for the first time.

"With your powers," she said, after that she was quiet.

"Come here," I said to Drake.

He hesitantly came but stood in front of me. I couldn't reach him standing up so I got off the bed and stood on it. Lucious stepped forward so I told him, "relax I'm not going to tackle anyone even if I did it would be you not him."

I put my hand on the cut and it was pretty deep not too deep to cause any damage but, enough to make a scar. I rubbed my finger across it and willed it to heal. Before my eyes the scar patched up.

When I was done a girl came through the door and was saying, "what was all that racket."

I knew that voice I looked up to see the person I hadn't seen in over a year.

"Louise," I jumped off the bed and was giving her a hug.

She hugged me back, "Simone!"

"Who are these people and what do they want with me," I ask looking up at her.

"This she her," she asked Drake, "I could have told you anything."

The boys asked at the same time, "you know each other?"

We laughed, "I took the night shift at the retirement home her grandmother stayed at until she came and learned how to take care of her," Louise said.

She brought me over to the bed and sat down next to me then looked at Drake, "oh baby what happened?"

He looked at me to explain.

"I hit him with the chair outside the door"

"Then she healed me," he said in awe.

"So she is a healer, you are a healer," she asked us. Louise looked at the boys asking them something silently.

"Let's wait until we explain everything," Lucious says.

"What explain what," I ask looking at all of them.

"There's no easy way to say this, so I'm gonna spit it out," Louise pauses, "we're vampires and your hybrid."

I looked at them startled, "not to be mean or anything, but you're all effing crazy!"
