Infamously dubbed the “Lubbock Lights,” many people reported seeing UFOs streaking through the Lubbock, Texas skies on August 25, 1951, at approximately 9 p.m. local time. Three professors from what is now Texas Tech University witnessed numerous lights flying in a “u” formation in the skies above.
