Noah's POV
It was my first day of high school. The only person that I real hung out with over the summer was my best friend Nicky Fields. (The hottest guy in town) little did he know that I have liked him since the 4th grade. We have always been friends. But for some reason we got extra close this summer. But there was Logann Jackson the most popular girl in the school. She had everything. Good friends, alot of money, fashion but most importantly, Nicky. She was dating him for 5 months. But what was worse was that she is REALLY NICE. I have no reason to hate her. But she had my man. I looked up and saw him. It was almost like slow motion. He flipped his hair and we made eye contact. He ran to me and jumped into my arms. We embraced for what seemed like forever. I loved every second of it. "I missed you last weekend for movie night!" Nicky whined. I smiled at him "Sorry, my parent were really pissed at me for not going to summer school." Everyday I had summer school. But what my parents didn't know was that I was hanging out with Nicky all day, everyday. It pained me that he only saw me as a friend. Nicky looked at me and weakly smiled. "Can we talk for a sec?" He said quietly and nodded his head toward and empy hall. We quickly walked over there and Nicky sighed. "I told my parents I'm bi." He stared at the floor in shame. My heart filled with delight untill I realised this was a bad thing. I remember that his parents are REALLY religious. My heart sank. "Shit man."
