Chapter 4 (TBC)
"That was so fun!" I laughed as we walked out of Cedar Point's gates. I was holding two huge bears one that Kaedan got for me and one that Marcus got for me.
"I'm really happy that i met you today!" I said to Marcus who was standing next to me gaping at something in the parking lot. I looked over and gasped. Sitting there was a black car, tires slashed, windows broken, and a note attached to the side. Kaedan walked over to it and grabbed the paper.
On it said,
Go have fun with your new little girlfriend, Marcus. We aren't done yet, your life will be over. Your reputation will end and you won't be 'Little Mr. Popular' any more.

Marcus slammed his fist on his car and shook his head. I looked at him eyes wide.
"Marcus what happened?" Kaedan asked stepping closer.
"It's a long story." Marcus sighed sitting on the hood and putting his head in his hands.
"We can give you a ride home." I offered. "Where do you live?"
"I live in Wisconsin, I'm guessing you're from Michigan right?" he asked. I nodded.
"Can I just stay, with you guys for a while? I promise I will be out of your hair soon enough." he asked.
"Won't your parents be worried?" I asked him.
"No they won't," his voice cracked "They died in a car crash."
I sucked in a breath and looked at Kaedan, his face was contorted in pain. I ran into his arms and hugged him.
"I'm sorry" Kaedan said to Marcus "I know how you feel."
Marcus laughed darkly, "I doubt it."
"His parents died in a car crash, Kaedan and I were in the car and Kaedan jumped in front of me when the truck hit. We both saw it happen." I whispered.
Marcus looked up at us, pity in his eyes and dropped his gaze back to the floor.
"That's not it though," I paused walking over to him and sitting down on the hood. "My parents, left on vacation, and they aren't coming back. They don't want me there. With them." I spoke quietly. He looked at me again anger in his eyes.
"Why does this have to happen to all of the good people?" he asked shaking his head at the pavement.
"I don't know." I sighed hopping up and sticking my hand in front of him.
He grabbed it and I pulled him up. "What I do know though, is that you're coming with us."
I led him and Kaedan back to the truck and hopped in the passenger seat. Marcus looked at me with a fake sad face and I stuck my tongue out at him.
"Pouting will get you nowhere Marcus!" I sang buckling up and shutting my door.

"So, Marcus, you said the car was a long story? What happened?" I asked as we drove down the highway.
He sighed and rubbed his face. "I used to be the most 'popular' guy in school. I didn't want to be but people treated me like I was their lifeline, like I could make their lives hell if they made one wrong move. I hated it, and I always told them to treat me like they would a normal friend. So, of course one day this really pretty, flaunty girl walks up to me and asks me to go on a date with her." he looked towards the window and locked his jaw leaning back in his seat.
